Seeing now the kind of person he is I feel good knowing we killed his dream of signing for RM. Any regrets over your career Andrea? What's Spanish for 'F_CK YOU'?

Question, why didn't he sign for Madrid when his contract was up?

Because they probably didn't want a 32 y.o player that was coming after several very mediocre years.
Plus, they could sense his desperation. It's big turn off (for some).

Wow...I am in a state of disbelief. What an ungrateful, pretentious, pampered prick. I understand that people can get upset but those excerpts display a lack of basic human decency. To think that that scumbag drew me to Milan in the first place. Dru, let me be the first to apologize. I still disagree with your style of communicating but it seems you were dead on in your assessment of his character.

I was all behind him but reading that just repulsed the sh!t out of me.

Still I believe 100% that Galliani was a total idiot for letting him run down the contract. If he knew he was going to create trouble then he should have sold him when there was an opportunity and not let him go for free to a direct rival that's just plain old stupid.

But Pirlo has crossed some serious lines and I do sincerely hope that the next time he comes to the San Siro one of our players will wipe the floor with him and the fans should absolutely bring hell onto him

Actually, after reading this, I must say, Galliani acted like a true gentlemen. It must have been hell working with that kind of man.

Gentleman?

No, I'm sorry, this isn't a place for gentlemen. This is a business and considering how Maldini was treated I find it hard to believe that Galliani thought about being gentlemanly to suck a complete pr!ck while totally disrespecting Paolo.

It was once again complete and utter lack of any forward thinking or planning and another reason why we're in such a sh!tty financial position atm.

He was causing problems and wanted to leave. Why in the hell would you allow him to run down his contract and then watch him sign for a direct rival in your own league when he had offers from Chelsea and Madrid? Once again it is sheer and utter stupidity from the man himself. And how people can call him a transfer guru is beyond me. This man has cost the club millions upon millions over these years because he makes sentimental decisions instead of smart thought out ones.

What? After all that happened with the fans, the club took distance and didn't release a single comment on the matter, i.e. they didn't back him up. Then since his retirement, he hasn't been offered any position within the club. Maldini has confirmed this himself. That's not how you treat your legend.

Indeed. But it's not related with the Pirlo situation. This was directly involving Pirlo and Galliani, whereas the Maldini thing is more of a political thing (in terms of the clubs overall politics).

It has to do with it because you brought up Galliani being a gentleman towards Pirlo. And all I'm saying is that if Galliani couldn't bother to be a gentleman towards a great like Paolo, I highly doubt that it had anything to do with how Pirlo's situation was handled.

It's once again Galliani coming out with the short end of the stick and once again the club having to suffer due to it

So Pirlo knows what to do with the pen Galliani gave him (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
