ONE ON ONE WITH PIRLOlinkThroughout my football career I have always tried to improve day by day. I think that it's also important to know how to stop the move of the opponents and I always try to do that to help the team." - THE WORDS OF PIRLO -
MILANELLO - Here are the words said today by Andrea Pirlo, who gave an interview to Milan Channel at around one o'clock from Milanello.
"Throughout my football career I have always tried to improve day by day. I think that it's also important to know how to stop the move of the opponents, it's not really my style, but I always try to do that to help the team. I've been working on this for many years, always trying to improve.
For many years I have played up front, then I found this new allocation which I like a lot and don't want to change anymore.
On Tuesday in Donetsk against Shakhtar we played an important match, very delicate and it was fundamental that we unblocked the result quickly because those three points will be very useful for the qualification.
In my life family is very important: my wife has been very important to me in my growth process, on a human level as well as a professional one. Then on Sunday for me the match does not end at San Siro, because when I arrive home I change and keep playing with my son Niccoló.
The night of 9 July in Berlin for the World Cup final I was agitated, even though it did not show. For me it was the most important match of my life and it gave me a huge emotion, I felt like a hurricane inside me. In Athens it was the same, all victories are important because they gave you a unique happiness.
In the summer of 2006 there was a rumour of a possible move to Real Madrid, it was a strange thing because the Calciopoli scandal had just erupted, in the end I opted to remain here."

MILANELLO - Roberto Baggio continued: "Andrea has shown all his talent and his value. When we played together everything depended on him. He's always had the great merit of knowing beforehand what could happen in a move. His game vision, what he's able to build, make him a world-class player. Andrea has something you don't see very often."
