So I just paid 10 dollars to download Pirlo's autobiography. It's been all over the news with the English version here. You can find some extracts over here . What I could make out of the extracts is oddly, he had personal relationships to a lot of people, but no 'allegiances' to a cause. He loved Carlo, feared Galliani a bit, but didn't give a shite about AC Milan or any club for that matter. He just had this weird way of cutting through all of that. Like, "This is who I'm, this is what I believe, f@ck every other bullsh!t" . I don't think he cares about Juventus either. The only team he seems to love is the NT. You know what, stick a fork, this man will end up being a good coach. Better than Pep if he has the patience.

Here's the thing though, if you saw exactly how he was treated at Milan, it is kinda sad. Especially when you see how he played in Juve.
It looks like we really backed Allegri to the hilt for him to let us down.

It looks like we really backed Allegri to the hilt for him to let us down. Galliani backed Allegri from day one for some unknown and mystifying reason. Personal relationships should never get in the way in such matters. As if the Matri signing wasn't also a hugely ridiculous move that catered solely to Allegri's whims

From this extract I read the other day it seems like he has no intention to become a coach.

But again he has all the talent to be. The way he seems to observe things is just weird. It's like he's from another place and looking in.

I don't really understand where you get that feeling from. But more importantly, why do you think that would make him a good coach, I don't think it's the same thing.

QUOTE (Rossoneri7 @ Apr 17 2014, 07:52 AM) So Pirlo had his thoughts fixed on Madrid after 2006 WC. He was almost a Madrid player, if not for Galliani.
I have 5 Milan shirts with Pirlo's name on them, I'm going to have a bonfire tonight! Personally I always was and will be a Pirlo fan. I just think he's a genius, a true conductor of the game. And I still love watching him play, whether watching a Juve game and especially for Italy. That being said, Pirlo the person has truly shown what a right old pr!ck he really is
