Damn. Too bad we conceded in the end. It was a triple fault; midfield, defense and keeper...

Nevertheless you can't say this is a bad result. United's power is the Old Trafford, away from home and with Evra (plus the others) missing we can beat them at San Siro!

Grazie Milan! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif)

i think it's a decent result...we went to their house...and only lost by one goal

it's definitely not over yet...if we can go to bayern and win 2-0 then we can at least pull of a 1-0 win to draw it to extra time.

we'll have to be on our A game though...Man U have shown that they are not afraid of us.

but i have a feeling that we will be able to pull this off with a win at home.

i remember last year we went to Barca and even though we lost, we should have won.

i still feel positive and i'm definitely not hanging my head down.

At the start of the night I probably would have taken the result. But yeh disappointing to play so dismally in the second half and give up a lead and then a draw.

I honestly thought we were ordinary barring the brilliance of kaka' and nesta at the back. Other than that players went missing at different stages like gila, pirlo, seedorf, ambrosini. Gila was absolute horse sh*t tonight, all he did was give free kicks away. Dida made some good saves to cancel out some shotty keeping. All that rest seemed to do nothing for the majority of team, had like no legs after 60 or so minutes. Damn I wish we had the real ronaldo for the champions league this season. No one would stop us then.

All in all its a good result and if the team plays well we should go through. However if its all on the shoulders of kaka' again were in trouble. Hopefully the injuries aren't too serious, no il capi and rino would be devastating as we saw in the 2nd half tonight.

Deeply cut at the moment as I'm guessing most of you all are. I just have a bad feeling that were going out in the semi's again. God I hope I'm wrong, so 90 minutes left to define a indifferent season.

FORZA KAKA'! HE IS SERIOUSLY AN ABSOLUTE GENIUS AND THE BEST PLAYER IN THE WORLD! CAN TURN IT ON WHEN IT MATTERS IN THE BIG GAMES!

I'm going to keep my head down as far down as possible so when we loose and don't make it to the Finals I don't get as pissed as if i was expecting something to happen

Whoever says he doesn't deserve to be a Milan Captain is a moron.

I do! Thank you...

There are other qualities that make a captain... if it was just running and giving everything you've got then maybe Ambrosini or Brocchi could be captain... (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Without Rino we should really start Gourcuff. He can handle possession and provide something offensively. Ambro is too slow, but we don't have any options in midfield. If needed, Serginho should be brought on in the 2nd half.

Was it Galliani or Don Silvio who has spoken about his consternation because of conceding the goals in the last few minutes of the game. Lack of concentration? Simmilar with Bayern. Come on guys, the game has not only 90 minutes but also injury time. Did you forget about it? Dida should specially read this. I won't speak about Kaka, Gattuso and Nesta cause they're great players always giving the best. Pirlo also shined. Lack of good striker is still a big problem. Kaka can't do everything but anyway he is just brilliant.

Ok so what happened to Maldini ?? And is Gattuso ok ??

Milan should be ok to go through at the San Siro. But I hope the team doesn't let a goal through. Cuz if United get Ferdinand back, I think United are at the front seat to go through.

I don't think the team played well, but after Maldini left the field, United started to put the pressure on us, then Gattuso got injured and the whole back line seemed shaky, with the exception of Nesta .. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/king.gif)

I think tactically the team were compact and did their best to isolate Ronaldo from this game. But Rooney was on target twice and that was what decided our fate.

Dida was exceptional today (first goal wasnt his fault..) as was Seedorf, Pirlo and Kaka ... Life could have been a lot easier with Gilardino dribbling the ball for more than 5 seconds, but the game is not decided yet.

Milan still have a chance, in Italy Milan has to play with humility and vigor !!! Or else, United could be too hard to swallow. And their attacking game could come at us from anywhere. They played wide, then they played diagonally from outside our box. They were testing us, looking for a dent in the defense.

I think United's attack has become very strong, but only with the absence of Maldini ... Cuz Milan were clearly superior in the first half. Maldini is the dynamo of Milan, there is no question about it .. He is a true leader ! Ronaldo wouldn't even go next to him, he wouldn't even test him !

In any case, United have an advantage that they can come and score at the san siro, or we make an example of them at the san siro. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Of course it was. You either come out of the line and clear the ball away or you don't! If you're undecided and stuck in the middle... sh!t happens! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

ya we do have a chance to get thru but you have to say they choked in the 2nd half... what did ancelotti expect for us to camp i our box for 45 minutes?and you gotta questions guys like brocchi and ambro... like what are they doing, they cant hold possesion or win balls and they gave the ball away constantly... like go fucking hide urself, same applies to gila who supposedly has the skill to hold the ball a little and bring in support, he wasnt able to even touch the ball for the whole game...

I have exam in Macroeconomics tommorow, and I didn't give a **** about it today, thinking about Milan.

I just hope it's worth it, and at the end we'll be qualifing for the final, at least (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

He kept Milan out of trouble and humility on several occasions .. Without Maldini, I would have to be thankful to the efforts of Dida, he was Magnificent.

And about that goal, it was coming directly towards goal, while he wasn't expecting it. He tried to push it above the pole, but it went in. Fate.

anyways we cant just look at this like a good result, the fact is man put so much pressure on us and so many chances that they could have score 7 goals like against roma... so if they get a lil luck at the san siro we're done.
