[URL=http://www.tuttomercatoweb.com/index.php?action=read&id=55754]Tuttomercato announced today that Braida has arranged the transfer of Brazil U20 captain, Lucas Pezzini Leiva.
In my opinion, he is far better option than Ze Roberto. He is regarded as the Brazilian Gerard. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

He is more of an all round midfielder than an attacking kaka style player

Not official yet. GloboEsporte.com says that Gremio could be negotiating with other european clubs...

The player says he would love to wear the rossoneri shirt but says that no official contact has been made.

Apparently Inter were going to get him this past January (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

I found this earlier But I speak pretty much no Italian so any help with translation will be welcomed (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

It said this above it all, which is why I assumed it was transfer related:
Inter Milan negotiate with Gremio for Brazil midfielder Lucas Pezzini Leiva. The 19-year old should join them in January.

You're right. Inter wanted to buy him in January, and after that loan him to Empoli according to that text.

Atletico Madrid and Milan were/are on the run too.

I hope he picks Milan, if he does join Serie A. I can't see him going to Inter, he certainly wouldn't be welcomed in the newly discovered Argentina.

I know they have alot of South Americans, but 8 Argentines in their first team squad?

Arsenal don't even have that many English players!
