QUOTE (Locke Lamora @ Mar 10 2007, 08:51 PM)
Its with mixed feelings I receive these news (that sounded so retarded, I know).
I really like Dida, but as he's getting older, he's getting slower, and his stength have always been his reflexes.
I really love the current squad, but lets face it:
For each passing year, the team gets older, and our star players are already past their prime.
We need refreshments, but its like we don't want to change, and cling on the hope of some sort of rennaisance.

You said it, brother.

A piece of bad news imo. When are we going to stop cligning to dead woods? We extended Seedork's contract. And now Dida. It is this sort of behavior that landed the team in this situation. We almost an ancient team, with 100 yr olds.

Surprisingly, we are the most consistent team in Europe .. And ancient too (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

that dead wood has climbed back into a fight for CL qualification from a -8 point deduction and has made it past barca, arsenal (a young team), inter, and lyon in the CL.

How? Other teams did that dirty work in eliminating them, we didn't.

No but this team proved how it can be so consistent while other teams (favourites) for the CL were knocked out in the round of 16.

p.s. .. Milan is Milan, wether it is old or new; this team will always be 2nd to none (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

How can you hate someone you don't even know? Relax and take a few deep breaths.

We don't need buffon, he can stay at juve. Dida imo is good enough to last us a few seasons. Eventhough he is no longer top 5 best goal keeprs, he is still pretty damn good. It's much better that we fill up maldini's gap soon, rather than someone who is still eligible to play.

My top 5 goal keeprs:
Cech (pretty damn good)
Buffon (so good)
Casillas (for his sh!tty team and his sh!tty defence he preforms good)
Coupet
Landreau (very underrated)
