I don't think it's 'too much to ask'

England have been shocking the last year or so. Yet we've only lost 1 game. Now THAT is high expectations.

Didn't we lose to Portugal and Croatia, but when you look at our Euro 2008 group, it is shocking for a team of our standards (not quite sure what that is though!)

I meant an actual loss. Anybody can lose or wina shoot-out, that's just luck. You're not a better team for winning a shoot-out, like you're not a worse team for losing 1.

Yes that was a tough one for them to swallow ... But this just defines the line between both coaches .. Spaletti isn't ready for the BIG stage .. I am not jumping to conclusions nor am I saying that he is a worthless coach. He just isn't up to the challenge of such a competition.

Poor Roma .. Had Spaletti coached Milan this season, with the team we have, I believe we would have been knocked out in the group stages and not even qualified for the uefa cup.

I hope Carlo Ancelotti gets one over Hetzfield .. Cuz now I don't want to see Milan fall apart like Roma .. I want Carlo and the team to win (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/devil.gif) And win with conviction (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/devilsmiley.gif)

I want to see a Milan - Man U semi final ... Ragazzi ! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/king.gif)

Good news is, if we go through vs Bayern tomorrow. We have the home leg second.

Man United are very poor when they play their home leg first.

Don't go on about them being poor in Europe, pllleeeaassee don't tempt fate.

I remember them doing pretty well against a certain Juventus in 99 when they played at home first so I wouldn't say they are poor.

Valencia is disappointing me badly. I thought they'd own Chelski at least play-wise.

I too thought the same .. But I guess Chelsea have built a team for these type of competitions, and it is only logical that they are qualifying from one round to the next.

Man U have been poor in Europe in general. They've only won 1 more European Cup than Villa. And that's not hard considering we've only been in it twice. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

This is the exact reason I've been saying I would rather play Roma than Manchester United. Most of you kept telling me that United are awful in Europe WHHHAAAATTT?!!!!
*

Man I didn't see this coming and I was one who was saying that I would prefer Man U.

But I think the scoreline just TOTALLY flatters Man U. Roma just went out there and caved under the pressure of old Trafford. I've never seen a team give up the way they did just after the first goal went in.

Doni was horrible and was at fault for half the goals that went in.

Chelsea despite how much it pains me to say it, deserved to go through. Valencia never went out there to play football just to go through on the away goal just like they did against Inter.

I really hate the fact that Sheva scored their equaliser. Someone that we really miss on our team and will probably be the reason why we're out tomorrow because we don't have someone like him.

No they are not poor .. They humiliated Roma today, the 2nd placed team in Serie A. If anyone is poor, it is Roma, poor poor Roma (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

I didn't mind them loosing, but I wish they would have lost by no more than 3 goal difference, 7 - 1 is crazy .. Then again, Spaletti is to blame, not the players, cuz they have a splendid squad IMO
