Kaladze eyes Athens Final Milan defender Kakha Kaladze believes that the Rossoneri can fight for a spot in the Champions League Final in Athens.
The Georgian player is ready for action after recovering from an injury and will be at the Coach’s disposal for Saturday’s match with Siena.
“I am finally feeling well and I am ready to play,†Kaladze explained in a press conference.
“Our main objective in the League remains securing a Champions League spot and I think we can compete for third place,†added the 28-year-old.
“In the Champions League, we have made no secret of the fact we want to play the Final in Athens. I have heard people say there are other sides that are stronger than us, but I don’t think so.
“Everyone must prove their value on the pitch, we qualified easily for the knock-out phase and that is why I believe we have what is needed to fly to Athens.â€
Kaladze is also pleased with Ronaldo’s arrival and is sure that the Brazilian will prove he still is a great champion.
“We are all glad that he joined us. He has already improved since his move and he will be available for the match with Siena as well.
“He is a charismatic figure, on the pitch as well as off it. We already had an impressive striking department, Ronaldo makes it even better.
"He is a complete champion, fast and strong with his head and both his feet,†said Kaladze.
