Am I really the only one who prefers Platini to that old jerk Johannson? That he wants to change the qualification rules for the CL is a good idea, cause it's the CHAMPIONS League and not the Inter League for teams that placed second. I think he shows a lot of courage changing the structure of European Football (which is absolutely necessary I think). Football is a game and not a busniness. I know it's a also a huge business, but it's only a huge business because people like the game. Platini understood that, Johansson obviously not.
It's also obvious to me that Platini is the worst nightmare for that stupi @ss Blatter. Johansson was just looking at Blatter and said "Ok....as long as we earn money..." I really hope Platini will make a difference.

Anyway...they should have elected Franz Beckenbauer....no one can hate Franz Beckenbauer (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

I don't know... what does this mean:

QUOTE (bigmacmtl)
and if the future milan cant at least make 3rd place then we dont deserve to be called milan!

*

I mean generally making 3rd place and above isnt tough for milan and we can at least aim for that. so his decision to have 3 teams in the top leagues play in CL shouldnt effect us and if it does it means future milan squad arent maintaining that excellency and shouldnt be considered true milanista.(of course i ment that in a figurative sense)

I just dont like the guy because he hates us, but it's clear that he wants to change the rules to give more chance to the "smaller" teams, which in a certain way is not bad at all!

The fact that he is a Juve player cheers me up. Even if we suffer, we suffer with inter (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I really think Platini is has enough of a professional not to give any advantages to Juve. He's the UEFA President now, and not a Juve official. I know for some people it doesn't matter, but I have high hopes for Platini.
Johannson was an old man, 77 years old, it was the time for a change. It's that simple.

"There is not only politics, business, violence, hooliganism and corruption in football. There are also very nice things in football, and I belong to those people who defend these things. Football is also a game, we should not forget that." from uefa.com

sounds optimistic :|
