GILARDINO UPDATE
1/22/2007 2:55:00 PM

All the fans want to know how Gila is doing after last night’s challenge and everyone will be happy to know that the Rossoneri champion is just fine.

MILANELLO – Alberto Gilardino worked in the pool today. Milan’s medical staff have excluded any possibility of a bone lesion. They will, however, need another 24 hours to evaluate the situation with the ankle that was hit. On the positive side, Gila’s ankle doesn’t look swollen today and he is in good humour. Gila left Milanello in the early afternoon along with his team-mates, after they all ate lunch together.

Oops, I just posted this in the Milan-Lazio thread. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/blush.gif)

The pictures posted on acmilan.com fomr yesterday's game kinda scared me...you know, seeing Gila in pain. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) I'm glad he's doing well now! Great news!! I fully support coach Carlo in this when he said about the referee missing the tackle and giving Lazio a free kick! No wonder people give ref's a hard time when they penalize players for silly little fouls yet miss potential leg breaking challenges (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Just thank god that it was Gila who was stomped on, if that was Pippo his leg would have snapped like a toothpick (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

If that was Pippo he'd win an academy award for his reaction (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I think Gila did a pretty nice job in the agony department, although it did look really painful. When they showed a close up on him you could hear him yell. And when they showed the close up of his shin and ankle you could see the mark of Behrami's boot already looking really red

(IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) My heart brke when he hit him (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) I wish I was in Gattuso's shoes to give Lotito even more headache about his team's rb position, by going directly for Behrami's legs (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)
