Of course...though if Cassano were to come, 1 of 2 things could happen...
We can finally play the 4-3-3 whenever we want with the players to do it.
However, suppose we go only with 2 strikers in our now standard 4-4-1-1, here's the trouble...
Oli, Gila, Pippo, Cassano, Kaka
Kaka is a sure pick, what about the other 4? Gila/Pippo being poachers seems ideal to play off Kaka, but, the other 2 are too big a pair of talents to be irregular starters.
Dilemma....

We'll most likely play the 4-3-1-2 again and it will be put in good use. The 4-4-1-1 thing doesn't work that well for us imo since we have absolutely no wingers. QUOTE (Portugal @ Dec 25 2006, 05:43 PM) Milan doesn't want a fat c_nt that needs 6 months to be in-form again. (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) And Cassano wouldn't like to be benched until he's in-form. That's why I say Napoli... he would be their "Totti", their "man"... there he can be the 1. In Milan... he would be just "another foward". If he doesn't respect his "father" Capello - who will he respect? Ancelotti? Paolo and Billy... c'mon... What is up with you and wanting Cassano in Napoli? (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) This is just the same thing as the discussion about Zlatan, you would have wanted him but a lot never wanted him to come near the Milan shirt now the roles are reveresed and most likely the same thing will happen as did with Zlatan, Cassano won't come. About Cappello, well what is there really to say, who the hell knows what happened. In the vid it certainly wasn't Cassano only making fun of him (all be it he started it and was the one doing it the most) Diarra was also having a go and Ronaldo was laughing at their impressions. And Capello also somewhat abbandoned his son because he got a shiny new horse (RVN)

Napoli or Genoa are clubs that deserve the Serie A. For the good of the Italian football. C'mon, Zlatan was/is not fat. If he was I was the first to point it out. Milan need in-form players like Suazo... (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

(IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) Zlatan said himself during the summer that he had gained weight last season at Juve. But anyway that's not the point since I never said he was fat. I only said that the situation is the same because of the fact that some will want him others won't because of his attitude. And Suazo I think is out of the question, he might want to come but getting Cagliari to sell him in the middle of the season without even having atleast a DECENT player to give back to them is something that won't happen

Real Madrid ready to sell Cassano Real Madrid have valued Antonio Cassano at £2.8m, less than the £3.5m spent in January to bring the striker to the Santiago Bernabeu.
The ex-Roma man seems close to definitely ending his adventure with the Merengues, despite the player’s agent Giuseppe Bozzo reiterating that his client was eager to remain in Spain.
Real Madrid’s former President Florentino Perez had signed Cassano in January, when the Bari-born player moved from Roma in a £3.5m deal, but the Spanish giants may now consider the idea of accepting a £2.8m offer, according to the newspaper Marca.
The club is in fact ready to let the player leave following his latest exclusion from the team, after he was caught on camera imitating Coach Fabio Capello.
“Cassano is a good lad, but he sometimes acts without thinking,†said sporting director Predrag Mijatovic to the Periódico de Catalunya.
“We only want players on our side who are committed to this outfit. If someone does not understand this, we will have to look for another club that can offer more than Real Madrid,†added the former Fiorentina striker.
“We make the contracts and we respect them, and we ask our players to give their all on the pitch,†concluded Mijatovic.
The only Italian side who has shown an interest in Cassano’s services is Milan, although the Rossoneri do not seem keen on confirming the player’s £2.8m per-season deal. The striker, however, may agree to a lower wage in order to leave Spain, as there do not seem to be any margins to repair the rift with the club’s management. Football Italia

QUOTE (Rossoneri7 @ Dec 27 2006, 09:22 PM) I'm worried with these news .. Cassano, why isn't anyone else interested ?? Man U, have a shortage of strikers, why arnt they after him too ?? Saha, Rooney, Solskjaer, Larsson... think they're ok. As they'll get Torres next summer... (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) Maybe because Cassano is out of form, a team-spirit destroyer, a c_nt, doing nothing when on the pitch... etc

QUOTE (Portugal @ Dec 27 2006, 09:21 PM) It seems that Real wants 4M/euros for him. I think 4 mil Euros is a very good price if he doesn't work out we can offload him in the end of the season. But I'm pretty sure that he won't cause any problems.

Cassano To Join Milan On Loan goal.com
According to Spanish sources, the Real Madrid player is just a step away from joining the Rossoneri on loan till the end of the season, with an option to buy him at 4.5 million Euros. If the latest news coming from Spain is true, Antonio Cassano's adventure in Madrid is coming to an end as the former Roma forward is set to join Milan in the upcoming days.
The only obstacle to the operation might be the situation of Kaka, where the Spanish giants want to buy the Brazilian midfielder in summer, whereas the Rossoneri have no intention of letting their ace player leave.
Still, this minor detail should not stop Milan from acquiring Cassano as Real Madrid have had enough with his antics and want to sell him at all costs, even if it means making a net loss.
The fee is in fact that of just 4.5 million Euros, much inferior to the one the Merengues paid to lure him away from Roma last season. More will be revealed in the coming days so stay tuned to learn more about this story as it unfolds.
