However, Galliani has shot down those reports and handed the former midfielder a massive vote of confidence. “He has a contract with us and will still be on the bench in 2008,†Galliani noted on Thursday night. “That is official and definite.†Numerous men have been linked with Ancelotti’s job, including Italian World Cup wining boss Marcello Lippi. “Lippi is a great Coach and I rate him highly. I think there is a friendship between us, but the Milan boss is Ancelotti,†added the ex-Lega Calcio President. Galliani’s words come just a few hours after Lippi himself ruled out such a switch. “Me to Milan? No thanks,†stated the cigar smoker. “I have too much respect for Ancelotti.†Turning to transfer matters, Galliani did suggest that the club are ready to buy even if they may have to forget about a certain Barcelona player. “I don’t think we can present Ronaldinho to the fans as it seems that Barca won’t sell him,†he continued. “But our supporters deserve to be rewarded for their passion. If we can get them a present then we will. “However, I really don’t think it will be Ronaldinho.†|

Carlo should stay, ronnie should be forgotten and we should try and go for our own prospects not take them off another team. we're not Real or Chelsea |

In anycase, with or without him, Milan need reinforcments as there are many injuries |

I don't want either Ronaldinho or Carlo to leave. Of course, having Ronnie in our squad would be tempting, but I think he belongs to Barcelona. I would go for people like Higuian, Torres, Alexis, Barzagli, Sneijder, Huntelaar etc.

And how old will he be by then? Imo I think we would be making the same mistake we did when we got Rivaldo. Plus R10 will come for a much higher price. I really think that our management should focus on things we really need, like fullbacks, a great CB to go next to Nesta and 1 or 2 forwards or a forward and Huntelaar, since Pippo will probably be ready to retire by next season.
