Cafu urges Oddo capture Friday 13 October, 2006 Marcos Cafu believes Massimo Oddo of Lazio could be his successor at Milan once he ends his San Siro stint. The 36-year-old Brazilian has not yet decided on what his future will be, but is convinced that the capital man is the only player who could replace him in his role. “My future? It's too early to talk about it as we have only just started the season,†said the World Cup winner. “But I have to admit that I think Oddo could do well in my place as he is a player who is definitely suitable for Milan.†Oddo has been paired with a move to the Rossoneri for the last two years, but no transfer fee has ever been agreed for the attacking full-back after Biancocelesti chief Claudio Lotito slapped an £8m price tag on him. The former Verona star, who actually started his career at Milan, has admitted that he would welcome a return to northern Italy.
