Who Dares to Come Against Milan

(IMG:http://images.alice.it/sg/sportuni/upload/sup/super111.jpg)

In the laws of power she is the super power, and in rationality on who is first she is the first. In the debate of who is entertaining she is the entertainment, and in the prospect of leadership she is the chief of the old continent. If you want it simply put she is the first and the rest come later.

The priorities of Milan for which I preach is deeper than mere shallow ideas, and the seasons that we have come to pass, which took Milan years. Today the difference between them and Milan has turned into a dead end, where Milan ended any debate on who is to reign supreme.

It is this logical theory that imposed on us and them the reality of how Milan is beautiful, and it is only right that Milan is on top of the footballing pyramid for one unique reason: the stage doesn’t accommodate but Milan, the one who changed the common view of footballers and the elite to one term.

The majesty of Milan formed over incidents that passed us by like episodes. A reality we have all come to see and hear of the stars that were and still remain on the tip of our tongues whenever we reminisce of the beautiful history of Milan.

Brothers ..

It is not necessary for them to win to become better than Milan, and they won’t get put back when they loose to the Rossoneri. Also they won’t reign supreme by winning a competition or two, but how will they reach the superiority and majesty of Milan? For that is the question that they have to challenge themselves with and figure out, and until they do find an answer let us shed light on the newest of achievements to the history of Milan “the Super Cup”.

I was certain that Sevilla won’t be as aggressive as Liverpool nor as cunning as Manchester, and I was convinced that Milan will bring it’s sublime majestry, and in the event of Sevilla loosing “it happened” it won’t be the end for the emerging Spanish dark horse. As is the case for many elite clubs before Sevilla, like Bayern, Manchester, and Liverpool had all faced the same fate in the same year. And what happened was just the continuity of the best, Milan reigning supreme over all Europe again.

Sevilla beat Madrid by five, and Barcelona by three and she outshone here and there, she was unique in her organization and the understanding between her players. But when she came to face the Rossoneri, all the weapons that she had come to be known for diminished just when the Milan stars set foot on the playing pitch. For there is no quality higher than Milan’s quality, and no power that I see more powerful than the Rossoneri stars.

In that evening of Monaco the Super Cup winners came down to the bitter reality, as they lined up side by side to the European Champions. A team that has fought through all seasons to find competitors gracefully bow down to the ever majestic and powerful Rossoneri.

In the evening of Monaco, Sevilla wasn’t only a means of confirming the dominance of Milan in every way. In half a century Milan remains the first in Europe, and the rest follow, and when I say the rest put any name you like, from the biggest to the smallest, and we wont disagree with this or that. The reason being, Milan stands on the European footballing pyramid right now, and no voice is higher than that of the Rossoneri.

In the beautiful evening of Monaco, Sevilla came out strong and took a hold of the first half, and using pressing as a means of getting the ball back as a mighty weapon. They succeeded slightly by doing so and left the Milan stars unable to demonstrate their ability. They came out strong and threatened Milan on more than one occasion, they ended the first half with a brave display, and a positive result for the Spanish.

But in the second half, Milan’s majesty and class set foot on the field, and it is only natural for that to happen, for Inzaghi the savior tied the score with a daring header off of a precise Gattuso cross. Minutes later, Andrea Pirlo unleashed his skill to pass a high ball just for it to land on Jankulovski’s left which he smacked it right into goal. Two goals that showcased Milan’s class, and within fifteen minutes of the second half.

After that, the Rossoneri kept ball possession and let the match move closer to a one man show, the players passed the ball around with precision and absolute class. Knowing that the Spanish are dangerous if given the chance, they kept the second half in check. Until the eighty-fifth minute, when Andrea Pirlo again showed off his maestro talent by sending a long superb ball to meet Kaka’s notorious ability to take control of such situations, he tried to beat the defender who gave Kaka’ a penalty. The Brazilian took two shots to give Milan her third.

In this difficult test, Milan came out with a great performance and produced beautiful attacking football. They passed in the Sevilla test with flying colors, as they tied the result after being late, and came ahead, no tiredness nor bitterness could be seen in the faces of the Rossoneri as they were held back by the Spanish. They came back tied and recovered the score, they dominated, they did whatever they pleased in the match and this is the true nature of a champion which we all want.

In this match, after Gattuso’s injury, Emerson made his debut and won his first cup with Milan in his first match and after only playing fifteen minutes. It is this value that Milan has that puts it above the rest, as names change, and generations pass by, replaced by others, Milan remains at the pinnacle of football. She doesn’t care for the names, she comes out with the names that are on her roster. Making it firm and concrete that the case is her continuity to win trophies and does not rest on a star or another. But the case is who plays for this star, that is the secret behind Milan’s success in these last few years.

Oh this Milan !
Sometimes I feel guilty for what she does to her opponents, why not let them feel joy if just for a little while? And why not let them share a piece of the success that she is achieving with continuity? In times when shadows of the rest didn’t stand a chance for years and years, how big is she for not looking down at those that are beneath her, but for looking above her and because that is her aim, to reach success. As if she was new to success. It is in this context that Milan remains an old and new friend to competitions.

Milan isn’t over with winning competitions, and the Super Cup was just a season of a never ending tale. The next competition that Milan is looking towards is the CWC, to become the first European club to reach such an achievment.

On the path of competitions we will meet
    Your brother
