Well. Having 2 Serie A winning medals is quite a hell of alot different than having 0. I'd certainly rather have 2.

Yeah, but I meant even if they get to keep the medals, nobody counts them.

That's true. But the players didn't do anything wrong, they still earned it over a whole season.

Just 'cause their club is a jackass. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Bayern announce Toni deal

Bayern Munich have confirmed that Italian international striker Luca Toni has agreed a four-year deal with the German giants.

The Fiorentina hitman has been strongly associated with the Bundesliga side and Bayern President Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has admitted that Toni is on his way.

“We have finalised an agreement with Toni,” said Rummenigge on Wednesday. “He will sign a contract until June 30, 2011.

“On June 8 he will be in Munich for his medical and he will then be officially unveiled to the Press. The transfer fee is £7.8m.”

Bayern’s swoop is impressive given that they haven’t qualified for next season’s Champions League, a competition which initially seemed to be one of Toni’s priorities.

The former Palermo and Brescia ace, who will allegedly earn £4m per season, was crowned as the 2005-06 Capocannoniere with 31 goals.

Toni was also a reported target for Inter, Chelsea and Juventus.

The 30-year-old joined Fiorentina from the Rosanero in 2005. He has also enjoyed spells at Treviso and Vicenza.

Huge mistake.

I suppose it just makes it even better to watch Viola beat Bayern in the UEFA Cup this year.

Chelsea striker Hernan Crespo will remain at Internazionale next season.

Crespo has been on loan at Inter since the beginning of the season and, although he agreed a two-year deal, Chelsea had the option to bring him back after one.

With Didier Drogba and Salomon Kalou due to be absent for the African Nations Cup in January, Jose Mourinho indicated his intention to bring Crespo back to London to boost his side's firepower.

However, Crespo has repeatedly spoken of his desire to remain in Italy and it now seems he has got his wish.

An Inter statement read: "FC Internazionale have received a fax from Chelsea stating that Argentinian striker Hernan Crespo is free to remain with the Nerazzurri for the second season of his two-year loan deal."

Crespo told the club's official website he was delighted to have secured his stay.

"I am very happy. Staying at Inter was what I wanted.

"I would like to thank Chelsea first of all for their help, and Inter for confirming their faith in me."

The player's agent, Fernando Hidalgo, broke the news, and said the striker had agreed a new two-year deal with the Serie A champions.

"We have found an agreement with Inter for a one-year loan and a new two-year contract," he told Gazzetta.it.

"We are happy because it was what we wanted."

Looks like Crespo are Chelsea are over. He'll have been there 5 years at the end of next season. Only 2 of them actually spent as a Chelsea player. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Rumours about Inter and Roma deals going on:

Chivu to Inter = Pizarro (100% ownership) + Samuel + $$$.
Mancini to Inter = Grosso + Recoba + 10M euros.

I'd say great deals for Moratti and co. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

I don't think Chivu and Mancini are that stupid... to stay in a club with no money like Roma. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)
They deserve better IMO. Not saying Inter though. All I'm saying is that they're... "too good" for Roma IMO.

Totti, De Rossi, Mexes, Chivu and Mancini = Roma. Nothing more.

PS: I think Mexes is about to renew with them. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

I agree, but Roma need to build a strong team around these players. I'm sure they can find someone to invest some money in the club.

Is he insane!?

I'm not saying this because I want him at Milan, but youhave to wait and see who stays/goes before tying yourself to a club, if he signs now and and Chivu/Mancini + a couple of others leave he could end up looking like an idiot.

Sensi family should have sold the club already, IMHO.

I agree. The only player that is being held back by Roma is Totti and we all know he wouldn't leave them in a million years.
