Strange how people with too much time on their hands amuses themselves with eh?

And by the way, Moldova 0-0 Norway HT.

HT Italia 0 - 0 France.

Inzaghi had a chance, but it skimmed the cross bar ... Hopefully he will get another chance in the 2nd half. I think on a whole, Italy will be a lot better in the 2nd half .. Their first half was so - so .. The French went close on several occasions.

Waiting for the 2nd half (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

BTW England had an amazing match (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/king.gif) Own was on the score board today (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

Some strange decisions going against Italy from what I have seen so far (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)
Rino got a yellow while a French player(Diarra?) got nothing for a similar offence (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

The ref definitely fancies the French (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

But I think Italy will score in the second half. If their defense stands firm, and Pirlo is at least 7/10 then Italy will win tonight (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

Well it ended 0-0 and it was probably a fair result, Del Piero should have been subbed before Pippo as Pippo looked the more likely to score.

Cannavaro was brilliant. This was the level he played at the WC. First half was intense and much more 'bout fighting, while the second was a bit boring. Still, Italy tried and tried. Donadoni had an awfull bench today, which the entrence of Lucarelli and especially Di Natale demonstrates. Pirlo played fair but made many mistakes. Oddo, in def. great, in off...what shall I say? Is it just my fixation or is Oddo's crossing deteriorating? I mean, I remember the Ukraine-Italy match when I criticized him then, saying his crossing was bad. Well, compared to this, it was great,.. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) .

Italy can thank Georgia,...

Del Piero, De Natale, Luarelli, Zambrotta, and Oddo ... These players were the weakest link throughout the game, though they worked hard and tried (keyword here: tried) to make an impact on things. Still, they weren't up to the task.

Pirlo was below average, he picked up his game in the second half but wasn't enough (my guess is the team wasn't reading him correctly (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) ). Ringo was just Ringo. De Rossi was solid in midfield, he really kept a balanced midfield (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/king.gif) I think Perotta did well in the second half, but he didn't find the space.

What can u expect from a blunt strike force ? .. Donadoni should have kept Pippo on! Pippo Inzaghi was Italy's only ticket to winning this game, Lucarelli and De Natale aren't exactly players that can handle this pressure. Sure bring them on when Italy is up 3-0, but not when you are playing the crucial game for God's sake (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Buffon (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/king.gif)

Donadoni ... Off with his head (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)

In other news, Xabi Alonso got sent off 20 minutes into Spain's game with Iceland. Straight red card. Iceland leads 1-0. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Turkey drew in Malta !!

So if Greece can win in Norway , they get very close to qualification.

all i gotta say is del piero should never play another game for the azzurri again. he's never really done anything for italy and gets worse every game, too bad he'ss always so amazing when it comes to juve (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) , oddo does well getting forward but he cant cross for his life, italy did ever so well at shutting ribery down.
