QUOTE (pKillerMax @ Dec 27 2006, 11:07 PM) thanks! mishale too... but he's a defender... so I couldn't care less about his goals. But anyway... he seems to know a bit about positioning... (hell, he may even learn Kala a couple of things) (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

English is a compulsary language in our schools from the moment we start to attend at the age of 3, plus watching TV helps (It's better then reading) (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

QUOTE (dst @ Dec 28 2006, 01:26 AM) well yeah but how is watching TV helping more than reading in this matter!? Ofcourse it helps at least that's how I learnt to speak English at such a young age. In Malta we get Italian TV also and most of us grew up watching the Italian channels, that's why most Maltese people understand and speak Italian, without ever learning it in school, English is our second language but some understand Italian more because we get the Italian TV channels for free. QUOTE (han2503 @ Dec 28 2006, 03:31 AM) Ofcourse it helps at least that's how I learnt to speak English at such a young age. when you say books I think of literature books (or maybe mags) not "English for Time Pressed People" stuff.. (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) So in this case I think a book is helping a non-proficient more in understanding a language cause he has all the time he needs to work up what's said instead of in a movie (or whatever) where he's been foundered under all those words per minute...
