Well our management never even once mentioned that they wanted Bonera, not even one single rumor about it, and then when he was announced Braida said that they had been trying to get him for quite a while. And Milan have made an offer to Lazio twice already about him, this was confirmed by the Lazio management

Torres I don't know, he just doesn't strike me as someone that could make it in serie A, his scoring record isn't even that impressive and he is playing in SPAIN not Italy. Oliveira and Gallas sure we need them but would you seriously reject Ronnie if he was offered to you? i think our management know that next season practically the whole team will need a total overhaul (except for the midfield) Our defence will be considerably thinned out with all the retireing players, Boriello will definately not be here for long neither will amoroso. I think they are trying to save up for next year so they can rebuild the team, not fron the ground up, but make it young and fresh again.

And Ronnie fits in Silvio's plans, infact I think that he will be the thing at which Silvio's plans will revolve around, you'lle see that by the 07/08 season there will be a new young and fresh Milan

Did Vogel really go to Betis, I thought that the thing that was holding us back is that Vogel wanted the same wage he had with Milan and Betis only wanted to give him half of what he was earning.

1. Torres's goal scoring record is better than many strikers we have been linked with. He also proved how talented he is in the WC. He has scored 64 in 140 games and he has done that playing for Atletico as the supporting striker! He is sheer talent and he will make it where ever he goes. I have no doubt.

2. Ronaldinho would be great, but he is not the answer to all our problems. Not to mention he is utterly expensive and I doubt we will buy 2 world class strikers and defenders in the same year. Unless Milan is willing to spend about 150 million Euros in one year! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) Even if want to buy R10 for next year, we should have bought a defender and a striker so we can actually win something this year and that would mean more money. I know that there will be side effects to it but a complete overhaul especially of our defence will be inevitable. At least 2 world class defenders will have to come in, either a RB or a LB (depending on wether we buy Oddo or not) and a CB, not to mention that we will have to buy some subs.

And about the financial aspect of it, Silvio has already said that if he where to get the chance in buying Ronaldinho he would be ready to make any financial sacrifices in order to get him.

Gaucho is just a better entertainer and not a better player than Ricky. That said Silvio looks like a Roman emperor and San Siro is his arena or something!!!!

In a way he is an emperor .. and hehe ironically it is his arena ..

But your 100% right, cz Kaka is a stronger player than Ronaldinho .. Maybe in Spain he could put all his mastery on the pitch, but in Serie A he will need to improve a lot in terms of tactics and strength.

I watched the Italy match tonight - Oddo made numerous crosses, not a single reached his target. They were either to strong or simply unprecise (deflected by the first defending player). You say his attacking skills are no that good...but I did not see any defensive skills either. I mean, come on, against some Lithuanian players he acted a couple of times very week, and Cannavaro had to deal with the problem. I know, not everything should be based on one match only, but I saw him many times earlier and also wasn`t that impressed. I cannot lose that feeling that he is very overrated here...some people seem not to be happy even with Ronaldinho, but all embrace Oddo at once. But I really don`t see him as that good... That's strange, cause I watched the first half of Italy-Lithuania and he really impressed me.
