Milan to go for Ivanovic, Benzema, Alex and Drogba

Corriere dello Sport
Zalayeta pays the price! Uruguayan is banned for two games

Milan have £70m to spend

Will Di Michele be able to play?

Wish it was true... some time ago I could have believed we would get at least two of them but now... it's just a dream!

(We should have gotten a CB and a forward sooner...)

Why should Milan go for Benzema and Drogba? I though we had seven strikers in Inzaghi, Ronaldo, Gilardino, Pato, Kaka, Seedorf, Ambrosini! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

But on a serious note I wouldn't say no to either Benzema or Drogba, one is young skillfull and a real prospect for the future. The other is old but he will assure you goals.

Because in that case I had to add Favalinho too, he was a hell of a goal-scorer last season, wasn't he?! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Drogba, well he doesn't even need to be praised. with him goals are guaranteed. Benzema is just 19, and like Pato, there's some risks in investing in him. but from what I've seen from him, he seems to have a bright future. he's especially very intelligent and has already taken Trezeguet's place in the NT. anyway I don't think we'll sign him. Funny...I can swear I heard a few Chelsea fans say that about Sheva. I'm reserving my judgement on Drogba. Chelsea's game style is totally different from Milan's.

Corriere dello Sport
Gigantic Ibra - The Swede hits two goals as Inter come from 2-0 down to win 4-2
Napoli fans banned from Palermo
Scudetto immediately - Juve ready to buy

At 34, Inzaghi is still decisive ... I think it is wrong for anyone to assume that he should retire at the end of this season ... Maybe go one for another one or two seasons. There is only one Pippo Inzaghi (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/king.gif)

Yes, I agree, but we MUST have at least 4 other strikers. Three other quality ones and one above-average.

Ronaldo and Pato .. I don't know about Gilardino (was real disappointed on Tuesday..) Still, Gilardino will be with Milan for next season, Milan wont give up on him that easily.

Then there is the option of R10, Drogba, Eto'o and whatever whirlpool we'll be involved in in the coming transfer sessions.

So with that in mind, i think the team will be alright with it's attacking options.

Nah.

He was interviewed today and stated that he was paying Adriano a compliment about his being a talented player. NOTNOTNOT stating that he wanted him at Milan. Silly journalists twisting words.

Ibra is one the best right now, we all know that. but I say Kaka is the better player. he's been playing at very high level for four seasons and has always been fundamental for us and will be so. whereas Zlatan has had some really poor moments [2005/2006 season].

The difference between Ibra and Kaka is not so big right now... it is a noticeable difference nonetheless.
