I'd argue that he insists on two players being fielded - Beckham and Ronaldinho.
The rest of the team selection - I agree. There are a number of things about ancelotti I don't agree with. Thing is, right now, there aren't any options to Kaladze. If Bonera were healthy I'd certainly expect him to be fielded first (or I'd sure hope so)....in any event, yeah. SOmetimes aspects of the team selection not specifically related to the superstars does surprise me. The whole dm fixation doesn't all that much though -- that's basically where Carlo played so I am not shocked he fields them more than others would want. Doesn't mean I think he's right in doing so, however.

This will be good news to those who are big fans of Gourcuff.
Galliani is quoted in Equipe (a French paper) as saying 'If Bordeaux doesn't exercise its 15milion euro buy option, Gourcuff will return to us. Yoann, in the next season, will play for us or for Bordeaux. Surely not at another club.'

Heh heh...naw...there'll just be responses saying, how easy it will be to raise that 15 million they need.
I hope he comes back. If we want to, we'll just offer him twice the wage Bordeaux can. There's no way Bordeaux can pay 15 million AND afford a high wage.

One way is to win the Le Championat which did seem very bad at season start like the past 10 years, but...Lyon keeps on loosing points, and Marseille, Bordeaux, even PSG and Nice mean it this time! So...this could be a option. But...he'll return. When was the last time Bordeuax cashed out??

That's what I'm hoping for. The thing, I only want him to return if he's included in Carlo's plans not just because he's playing well.

Clarence will play out his contract with Milan, and probably sign an extension as well. I can actually see him retiring in our jersey, like Sergio and Cafu.

Gourcuff's Milan return in the balance
The father of Bordeaux's France international midfielder Yoann Gourcuff has said that his son, currently on loan with the French outfit, will return to AC Milan if the Italians show they have "confidence" in his abilities.
"Yoann belongs to Milan. He can stay in France - but only with Bordeaux if the team strengthens itself and qualifies for the Champions League," Christian Gourcuff, who coaches top flight side Lorient, told the Gazzetta dello Sport sports daily.
Christian Gourcuff said that Bordeaux did not necessarily have to hang on to highly-rated coach Laurent Blanc for his son to stay with the Girondins. "In football, everything is possible. The release clause in his contract (15 million euros) is ambiguous and there is also the possibility of a loan," he said.
Asked what would persuade his 22-year-old offspring that he would be best served by returning to Milan, Christian Gourcuff said: "(Obtaining) the confidence of the person who sends him out onto the field. In Bordeaux, he has the confidence of the coach. That is the essential thing.
"At Milan he turned in some good showings but gave the impression of not having found his rhythm. In fact that's because he did not have the confidence of (coach Carlo) Ancelotti, who counted on older players and limited (squad) turnover. You cannot not play a 21-year-old - his career is at stake. We all agreed a loan out was necessary."
At Bordeaux, Gourcuff has been playing superbly and the club trail champions and leaders Lyon by just one point.
