AC Milan table contract offer to Ze Roberto
tribalfooball - July 06, 2006

AC Milan have tabled a three-year contract offer to Bayern Munich defender Ze Roberto.

After Brazil's World Cup elimination last week, Milan have accelerated negotiations with ace Ze Roberto's agents in recent days.

The offer is worth ?1.5 million-a-year and the experienced defender will move to the San Siro on a Bosman after coming off contract at Bayern last month.

-I personally think he is a good player, he surely with kaka was the best of brazil in the wc 06., he is a good incorporation to the team

NO NO NO!!!! He's too old, he....noooo, please not Zé... he can do everything, but in the end he can do nothing...nothing, that's why Bayern Munich let him go.

He's not that bad , i mean he can apport more football that ambro or even brocchi, eventhough the roles are different on the field, cpul be a good replacement , at least.

and la palma, im sorry for your scepticism regarding italy... were are in the final, and italy surelly palyed their best game in years...

Believe me, Zé is not what he used to be when he played for Bayer Leverkusen, I've seen some games of him this season, and it was no fun wathcing him.
Oh and as for Italy, I'm not saying they're not a good team. They surely go as favorites in the final, but I just don't like their style of football, and I just hate the fact that they kicked us out of the WC. Playing against Italy in a WC Germany is cursed...hopefully I see the day when that curse will be broken (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/devilsmiley.gif)

perfect signing for that left hand side ... i hope we do get him ... marek jankulovski i think should be sold ... i mean hes a class player but he isnt played so i think milan should cash in on him ( just a opinion ) as for ze roberto hes not that old we can get about 2 - 3 years out of him ... and thats enough ... really ... (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) ... plus it will be nice if milan signed a new right back and even gallas heyy im asking a lot but oh well dreams

You know why you should root for Italy? because if they win on Sunday you could say your team lost to the world champions not to the runner up

BTW I always wanted to ask you, how come you are BIG german fan but you are a Milan fan and not a fan of Bayern or another German club, because it seems to me you're not that fond of Italy (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Zé was among the few Brazilians that satisfied me completely with their display on the WC. And look, we have allready Serginho, Janku, Favalli, Maldini, Kaladze and Seedorf - all players for the left side, so it is wise to get and excellent free transfer as a fresh substitute (also can play the DM) and concentrate on the right wing more carefully, as this position is very wounerable (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) .

As for the Italy team...I love them, they allways where my team (also I kind off like Germany) and this time they play very attractive and good. Italy - Germany should have been the final. France is a surplus, Zidane...yeah a great one, but honestly the don´t play so good at all! 1-1 with Korea, 0-0 to Switzerland, wo Portugal only cause that penalty, the 3-1 result against Spain hides the true impression, only the Brazil game was a good one. But I never enjoyed watching a match where France played. In fact, this WC is very dissapointing to me, not a single suprise, and the full victory of defense and tactics, victory of the DM, like Makelele, Vieira, Costinha, Emerson,...on and on. IMO they are good players, but in final, they will destroy football (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) !

Beeing a fan of Milan and beeing a fan of my own countrys national team are 2 different things. For me it's no question, that I support my own country if they play! I guess you guys support your national team as well. I'm also a bit proud for our great football history. the "Wonder of Bern", the Wembley goal, the semi final in against Italy in 1970, and players like the great Gerd Mueller, Fritz Walter, Helmut "Boss" Rahn, Juergen Klinsmann, Franz Beckenbauer...
I always supported Italy in this WC...until...they kicked us out. Now I'm just p!ssed about them...
As a matter of fact I do support a small german club, but most of will not know it..The VFL Bochum...they spent most of their time in the second german league (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) (which is a really good thing..cause they'll never face Milan in any competition...would be tough decision for me (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) ... it's a bit like having two girlfriends (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) ) It's because the city is only 20 km away from where I live, so I support them. I came to Milan along with Rui Costa in 2001 (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) .Have always been a huge fan of him, and when he transfered to Milan I started supporting the club. And now..her I am (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
Btw...most germans really dislike (to say it polite) Bayern Munich...

I think most of us do know something about VfL Bochum...Neuruhrer (and his Kasperl - show), Wosz, Michalke, Lokvenc,...they once made it to European cups (UEFA cup), but...I like some German clubs like Borussia Mönchengladbach, a traditional old - fashioned club or Boussia Dortmund (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) . But my heart belongs to Milan (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/devilsmiley.gif) !

Yeah...every seven years the UEFA cup...and in the meantime the second Bundesliga...
It's a dilemma for me...with my splitted heart... (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) I really love Milan...but I love Bochum as well...good thing they most likely won't face each other ever...

???
What do you mean, you expected Brazil to go out so soon and so easily ?
Or maybe you mean none of the non - big made it far enough ??

Anyway I agree with what you said about defense and tactics but even though it's still the best WC I've ever watched ( since USA '94 that is ) !!!!

My best WC was the France 98`, well maybe cause of the Croatian team. But so many memorable matches were played after the first round, Brazil - Holland, Argentina - England, Brazil - Denmark, Croatia - Holland,...This time...not many. I enjoyed only when Germany and Italy played.

As for Brazil,...the first two matches showed off their weaknesses. I think they made so many errors - the perparation of the team seemed wrong, tactics and player selection,...France did not win, Brazil lost.

Ivory Coast should have done it at least to the last 16.

Many disappointing teams: England, Holland,...
