I think you should have read the part where I said "if need be!" I didn't mean it was a good idea that they play together, merely that if we don't get Ibrahimovic for some reason, they could in an emergency. But I think we will get him! Anyway what's all this talk of "can't"? Milan can do anything, especially when their owner is Berlusconi - who demands 2 strikers, and with good reason! (Silvio for Carlo's Assistant!) Besides, Amoroso played as a support striker (even if I want him gone), and Kaka has played as the 2nd striker before. Even Borriello linked up well with Inzaghi a few seasons ago.
I agree Gila makes a lot of assists and links up well with the other striker (no matter who it is) but he'll never be that player you mentioned. Don't worry I don't think there's much standing in the way of us getting Ibra, he's the perfect solution to that Ukrainian bloke. Viva il quattro-tre-uno-due!
I thought that you said we could still play them together for a whole season "if need be" sry for the misunderstanding, what I keep trying to say is that Silvio should either get his @ss off the couch and get us a good forward or he has to forget about his "only 2 striker plan"
I'm sure that if we don't manage to get Ibra we would be either playing the xmas tree with Kaka and gourcuff supporting the lone striker or as Silvio has suggested himself we play Kaka as the support striker and Gourcuff as the attacking midfielder.
--------------Gourcuff---------------
-----------------------Kaka----------
-----------Pippo/Gila----------------
And I almost agree with everything you said on Gila, I think he has the potential to becoming a supporting striker, the only thing I can't see him doing is scoring those blinders that Sheva used to score for us, because I believe that if Gila could work more on his dribbling skills he could become a supporting forward
