Let's see how we can manage this one. I assume Milan will be in better shape considering we have van Bommel, Emanuelson and especially Cassano all avaible.

Boateng and Abate as well compared to last weeked.

Hopefully they don't let the Tottenham thing get to them and we'll romp past Chievo to gain back some confidence.

Chievo are not an easy team, no way near easy. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif) This season they took points of all major teams, I'd not be surprised the least if we end up with another draw. My only hope is the untouchables (the guys who were not eligible for the CL) to step up and run the show. Otherwise, 1-1 is pretty much on the line.

It's also time Ibra scores again. When was the last time that happened?

We're a real force in the Serie A,opposed to the champions league. And,we do have the best squad out of all Italian teams, also in terms of depth.

I would like to see Didac vila,he needs to be given a chance someday.

Also, for me the midfeild should be consisting of Emmanuelson,Van Bommel,Boateng/Flamini(if Boateng can't start)

I can't see us losing in the one, specially if Boateng plays.

I'm pretty sure Allegri will "reward" Gattuso for the excellent performance against Tottenham with another starting spot. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif)

Think this is a chance to check out Emanuelsons capability. He should be in midfield, thogether with Thiago and van Bommel.

amelia

Oddo - Yepes - Nesta - Antonini

Flamini - Van bommel - Emanuelson

Cassano

Robinho - Pato

Give Thiaguninho, Ibrahimovic, Abate, Boateng some rest not to further tire or delay their recovery

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) Why should Thiago play in midfield when we have Van Bommel? You're also forgetting we have Flamini, Gattuso, Merkel and Boateng available. Thiago as midfielder is only a call for emergency situations.

I'd bench both Gattuso and Flamini to cool down. As for Merkel...I think this one is too much for him.
Is Boateng fit for 90 minutes?

Cool down? What are they, little kids? Thiago in midfield is a big no-no. I hope I never see him there again. It's like playing Kaka' as winger i.e. waste of talent.

I really don't want to see Thiago is the midfield...

If Boateng is fit enough to start then it should be a Flamini-Van Bommel-Boateng midfield, if not Urby can take Boateng's place.

Cassano, Pato and Ibra in attack for this one, Pato doesn't deserve to be benched after all the effort he's put in whenever he's played lately, along with his top notch scoring record.

Thiago in midfield is a major waste, if both him and Nesta are fit that is where they should start, they're the best paring in Serie A by a mile imo, why mess with that?

I think Silva is great at midfield against lower quality sides but not as effective yet against bigger or quicker sides. So against Chievo I would not mind seeing him as a DMF but not at Tottenham.

Good writeup. Thought I'd put it here since no one is looking at the CL thread anymore (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)
