Oh what a day, for ages I've been telling people there's corruption in the English game seeing as they keep going on about the match fixing. Tevez and Mascherano's transfers were illegal, £5.5 million fine to West Ham but no points deducted (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) Perhaps now the corruption in the English game will start to be found out, because it's blatantly there! Perhaps not match fixing, but finances of clubs at the moment are so dodgy and have got to be illegal! It was all noticeable last year as well when even a few managers said there were backhanders and illegal transfer deals, it's all coming to light now!

There is corruption in every league I believe... the thing is whether or not the federations are willing to deal with it properly. Those found guilty should take grave punishment instead of being let escape through the back door!
In this case in particular £5.5 is nothing in my view...

Not compared to point deduction that would mean a £50 million fine pretty much with the costs of relegation...

QUOTE (milanista1899 @ Apr 27 2007, 06:33 PM) They might get relegated anyway, they're 2nd from bottom. What if they were at 12th or so place? Would they get a different punishment?? I don't think so...

^^ This is becoming as bad as the Italian league scandal, now time for some point deductions and relegations, because there are a lot more teams who have obviously done wrong in this league!

QUOTE (kurtsimonw @ May 15 2007, 04:41 PM) Surely Liverpool have gained a player (Mascherano) wrongly then? If West Ham have a points deduction, Liverpool should be kicked out of Europe for fielding Macherano! Yeah exactly (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) The main arguement now though is about Tevez, they are saying if he wasn't signed properly the 1st time like proven, why was he playing after, did they open up the transfer window just for him?

Wel Tevez officially no longer plays for Corinthians, so in theory he was a free agent, I thought you could sign them at any point in the season? P.S. Villa signed Gabor Kiraly after the transfer window had finished, if they made an exception for us, it's only fair West Ham get the same treatment.
