Cool new colour theme...

Anyway.
Im quite pleased with the transfers this summer. They've strengthened every area except keeper.
Pleased with the look of the backline, although i would have prefered Senderos on a perminant transfer rarther than a loan. I can see him doing quite well, then us not buying him in a years time. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) .
Midfield, as usual, looks stunning. Except now we have decent backups.
Attacking midfield we're well covered too.
Striker wise, good set of strikers. Young, old, experianced, hitting prime.
Looks good.

If Abbiati gets first choice and puts in the performances he did when he was loaned to Juve then i'll be happy. Failing that though, i havnt got alot of confidence in Kalac or Dida.

Ideally imo:
Sell Kalac in Jan, buy Amelia, rotate him and Dida till the end of the season, if Dida improves, keep that setup, if not, sell him, make Amelia first choice, buy Curci as second choice.

Something akin to what it is on OCUK prehaps m1ke?

...It's not just me, the Italians admitted so themselves!

Dont know who you've been talking to, but i dont know a single Italian who has said that. Including me.

As for a better defense, statistics speak for themselves.
Prior to the final, 1 goal conceeded, and that was a penalty.
How many did France conceed on the way to the final? (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) .

Means them.
They have to do verification checks on you/your bank.
Wouldnt worry about it, should go through fine. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) .

Keep it how it is imo.
It works.
All of the other methods do little more but serve as a popularity contest. With the people being the most active getting the most rep.
Having a post count is fine. If it bothers people, get rid of it completely, and just have the usernames instead.
The sooner people learn that post counts mean nothing the better.

Im not saying Bergkamp wasnt a good player. Far from it. He was amazing at times.
But he was extremely dirty and had a rep over here for being so.
Alot of the time he'd have moments of magic, followed by moments of malice.

well.. my favs are the great milan players.. maldini nesta pirlo kaka.

but dennis bergkamp is someone i always liked. he plays very cleanly. rarely gets angry. GREAT forward (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/devilsmiley.gif)

Bergkamp was a great player, but a 'clean' player he was not.
One of the dirtyest players in the game. All the cheaky elbows, stamps, two footed tackles, ect; he made were shocking.

Zaccardo is NOT an excellent player... I admit I hadn't really noticed him last season and the WC was quite bad for a first impression but this season what I've seen was good... but still far from excellent!

Well your free to your own opinion.
But having your opinion on him based upon his WorldCup performances isnt exactely concrete evidence of his ability is it? As the same flaws could be put at Ronaldinho, the entire England team bar Hargreaves, ect;

I say get Barzagli.
He may not be amazing, but he's still a dam sight better than 90% of defenders out there, and playing alongside Nesta, and in the same team as players like Maldini, Costacurta, Nesta & Oddo will do wonders for him.
Zaccardo, excellent player, but i doubt we need him if we've got Oddo. Unless he can play CB or LB.

I didnt see the goals, but i saw from 2-0 upto his substitution.
I thought he played very well. He still wasnt getting the passes off his teammates like he should be, but his two goals were well taken, and his setup for Lampards was good as well. He really fought today.
Pleased for him. I really am.

Yeah definitely. The current site current takes up around 2gb - I could host it 100 times and still have around 25gb spare (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)

I'll make sure the server can handle it before I start handing out the space though!
*

Prehaps to save on bandwidth, have certain rules?
Like only once a member has made a certain amount of posts. and/or if they have contributed enough to the forum in regards to what the space would be used for, like videos. In other words, not everyone who wants the space can have it?
Just a few ideas. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
Im sure you'll be fine there though m1ke. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

BoomAM: Normally I'd agree, but I've got more space/bandwidth than I know what to do with at the moment. I'd rather it was put to good use rather than just sitting there!

The problem would be if you suddenly needed the space that you 'donated' to us members? If people get used to something being there, and its taken away...?
You could allways make sure you have an agreement with the people wanting the space, that clearly says that its subject to be removed at any time, with 1-2 days prior notice for backups. Saves problems then. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Ahh, cool idea milanistar. But like han said, I think this kind of thing is more suited to shoutboxes/basic web chat apps.

Before I forget, would it useful to anyone if they were given some webspace on the Milanfan server? You could use it to host videos/pictures/songs relating to Milan and share it with other Milanfan's, rather than using 3rd party hosting sites.
*

Hmm.
Sounds like a good idea in practice. But wont MF be paying more for the extra space.
Maybe its just me, but the hosting sites like RS,MU,ect; are more than good enough imo.
If anything, any extra space on the server should be used for storing more videos or whatever.
But thats just my opinion. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Is it just me or does Suazos 'reaction' to the rumors seem a little desperate?
He might as well just say that he'll do anything to play for Milan! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

At this time, i think Oddo would be a good move.
He's an excellent player, and at 30, theres still a good 2-3 seasons left in him.

Not quite sure how seriously i take that, considering the joy that Lampard had when Sheva scored, and the subsequent hug that he gave Sheva.
