INZAGHI: 'First time I’ve scored from a keeper’s pass'
1/18/2006
MILAN - Pippo Inzaghi, who scored the only goal of the evening, spoke on the Milan Channel: 'It’s great that we won and I am happy that I scored. We played well. We could have even scored a second, but it didn’t happen partly because of the state of the pitch and partly because of the way the game was going. We were a bit tense near towards the end but the important thing is that we have the three points.' Regarding his goal, he added: ‘It is the first time that I’ve scored from a keeper’s pass. I hadn't been scoring but I thought I would, you also need a bit of luck. I am happy, above all, with my fitness. I played two 90-minute games in one week, Brescia and today, without feeling tired. My legs are working and I hope things continue on like this. Now we need a to rack up a string of positive results. There is a great test lined up on Sunday in Siena.’
