I hate him being co-owned, and not ready for Milan is rubbish, at this point he is better than Inzaghi, and I even would take him over Huntelaar as backup (less wage + prospect + experience at OUR team). Now we will have Super Pippo waiting for making minutes .......... urgh ...........

Ideal would have been Paloschi + Borriello + new forward + Pato ..... instead we got Inzaghi (big meh) + Huntelaar (meh) + Borriello + Pato ..... I guess I have to wait another season, oh no wait, Huntelaar represents our future (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

I want Albertino to return but the fact of the matter is that he spent a huge part of last season injured -- he hit a growth spurt and that threw all sorts of things off so he was hurt more often than not. Giving him another year at Parma isn't a bad idea IMO.

Bring Paloschi back when Inzaghi retires, which will hopefully be next year. Good move.

What has Pippo done... he's a ~37yo striker and yet people cannot talk with certainty about this retirement date!

Do you think it should be a public debate?

+1 (IMG:http://s4.tinypic.com/15e8pih_th.jpg) to armiss! You found the story faster than anyone!

Mediaset's version of the story is that Galliani and Cellino had a phone conversation and Galliani was firm in the fact that Milan wasn't going to pay any 2 million euros for Allegri (as Cellino had wanted). Cellino has now - according to the story - given the okay for Allegri to go free of charge. (I suspect Cagliari will get Legati and Astori at good prices in return but we'll see).

link to mediaset piece.

I'm not sure what you mean but just for the record, I wasn't necessarily being critical of Pippo.

So Allegri to be announced soon? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

True, who knows how long Pippo will be around. That seems to me what the plan is though. Paloshchi seems like a natural heir to Pippo, so it would only make sense IMO.

FINALLY! We can get a coach in place and start doing work.

Allegri is officially free from Cagliari. Here's a link to the official note on the Cagliari website: link
