Some sources are claiming that if Milan were to buy Ronaldinho and Gigi Buffon, they'd have to sell both Kaká(Real, Barca) and Gilardino(Juve) to raise money for the transfers. I've been doing some serious thinking, but I find it very hard to choose between these two alternatives.

If we, theoretically, say that these reports are actually telling the truth, what would you go for? Ronaldinho and Buffon, having to sacrifice Kaká and Gila, or keeping the Rossoneri champions and not get these two world champions?

Oh, tough choice. Although, I would have to say that I would keep Kaká and Gila. Kaká is a future captain and I hope Gila will further develop under another coach...

Not necessarily .. As far as I know, Kaka is staying with Milan and the board wont sell him, unless they'r bankrupt or something.

But the Gila for Buffon move, Iwould be all for it. Then again, it is all speculation, we never know if we'll get Buffon .. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

R10 ?? Silvio, Galliani, Braida, Pier Silvio, Kaka, Seedorf, and Gattuso have all given us hints of R10 coming next summer. So I guess it is a closed discussion, since R10 has yet to sign a new contract with Barca. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

You guys all love Ronaldinho i have no clue why. He is an excellent player but we have his replacement, every superstar we get turns out like vieri or worse Ronaldo(not complaining too much cause now he is with us (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) ) I would be all for Buffon for Gila becasue he is yet to impress evr since we have bought him i new it was a bad decision we need two forwards both young who can grow and develop under Ronaldo and Inzaghi. Two young forwards who we can mold any way we like

Vieri was 32 when he joined us, Rivaldo was also too old when he played for us. But Ronaldinho is only 26, he still has a lot to give to football, and he wants to play with Ronaldo and Kaká. We need a player who can make the difference, not young players (at least not in the attack (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) )...

Ronaldinho/Buffon or Kaká/Gilardino? I'd chose Reliable/Sources. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

If I had to really chose... I'd to to the 2nd - because of their age basically.

Some sources

Yeah, complete crap ones.

This sounds like something on football manager rather than the real football world.

Sure, these sources might not be the most reliable ones. However, would it be so unlikely that Milan would have to sell some stars to bring in others? I mean, The Shevchenko-money are all gone(Oliveira, Ronaldo, Oddo) and even though Milan are a rich club Buffon and Ronnie are very expensive and I don't know if Milan can afford them without paying the price of some serious selling...
Just a small thought...

Ok .. IF the transfers of R10 and Buffon were to be conducted. Silvio would bring in R10 on his own, Galliani (if Dida doesnt renew) would bring in Buffon (or any other top rated keeper) through Milan's coffers.

Dont let Milans transfer policy in the past 4 years be ur idea of how rich Milan is.

But, it doesnt mean that the club has to throw money left right and center (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

I think they know the majority of Milan fans would rather keep Kaka than sell him for Ronaldinho though...

I think THEY would rather keep Ricky than sell him for Ronaldinho.

But it's looking more and more like a possibility that we're not gonna be getting either R10 or Gigi.

So who do we buy for which area. Me I want a flying left back, sergio is nearly done at Milan. We need an experienced fella coz we already have Grimi who's finding his feet. Janku is I think being unfairly played at LB. I know he's good at it, but if he were played as LM, then his lethal shooting would be more of a threat. Not to mention our midfield has added muscle.

Centre Backs: I dunno..Bonera's come up in leaps and bounds. We have Sandro, Kala. Maybe one more guy to keep things safe in case something bad happens.

Midfield: I've been asking this for ages, puhleeze can we get Xabi Alonso. If I could pick any player in England to play for Milan it's this bloke. We need one more holdive(holding+creative) midfielder to play alongside Pirlo. In which case it's safe to go with just one DMF. Not to mention the X-Mas tree becomes just as lethal as a pyramid or a diamond.

Forwards: Personally I'm of the opinion, once Oli hits his stride, we're gonna be like 'Torres?? Who??". But then there is the issue of whether he will. I do not want anyone from Spain(Except R10), they'll all go through the same phase Rico has. I hope he hits his length next season. He's 26, time's running out for him. Pippo is gonna be more and more like a super sub, and will probably fade out in 2 years. I think it would be ungrateful to sell him off, but if he wants it. Well...(IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) Personally the only forward I'm all for is Pato. He's only 17. If SAF can make Cris Ron realize that there is no I in team....then Carlo will take 1 month, before the duck starts feeding passes left, right and centre. THEN....watch out for Gila!!!! After what i saw in Liverpol-Barcelona it's clear that Ronaldinho isn't a 100mil euros player
As a keeper Buffon is the best and i think it worth trade Gila for him
but there are other options like Gomes(PSV) or Coupet(Lyon)
