^^ Personal preference, zd. That's the order in which I'll watch games on weekends (and they're often on at the same time).

QUOTE (whoarethepatriots @ May 3 2008, 05:06 PM) You can best judge a league by midtableish teams. In the EPL, outiside the top four there is no real talent or quality (generally speaking). Are someone like Man City ever really going to trouble Chelsea during matches? Villa haven't lost to Chelsea for 3 years, including taking 4 points from Chelsea this season. Also, Chelsea haven't won at Villa Park since 2002, so they've yet to win here as part of the big 4. In my opinion, the EPL mid-table teams are better than Serie As mid-table teams, or at least as good as.

QUOTE (I_Rossoneri @ May 3 2008, 12:38 PM) But it's all about hype, that is my point. If they called it coca cola division 2 it wouldn't sound anywhere near appealing, similar to the prem - if that was still called division 1 it wouldn't sound anywhere near as appealing as English Premier League. In fact the initial name(the Premiership) has even changed, can't see any reason why it needs yet another name change other than to hype it even more. With all the hype surrounding the EPL I'm surpried it isn't sponsored by Nike, marriage made in heaven IMO (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) I've always called it the EPL, whic to me doesn't sound the most attractive name. In fact, the name, The English Premier League, sounds quite old fashioned, more like what a rugby league would be called! It's all well and good calling fans in this country stupid. But what's so stupid about going to support your local team? It's something that most other leagues would dream of, having 30,000+ fans every week.
