When I say this, I'm obviously thinking in being champion. Of both.

But, when I look at the team... I mean. We've a great midfielder. Probably the best or at least one of best 3. But, the defence? And the attack?

Can we fight 'Serie A', starting we -8 points?

Can we fight for the 'CL', against teams like Chelsea, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Inter? Even Inter... they've a much better squad now. Better than our.

I don't you guys... what do you think, but I'm really worried we're going to another season without trophies. And it's what? 3 years without trophies? Can the Milan fans accept this?

Share your ideas and what do you think.

PS: I know the market isn't over, but what we're gonna do? Ronaldinho to put the things OK? Obviously not...

I'm very uncertain about next season. I think our first squad still is one the best in the world, and it's definetely better than Inters first squad. But we have no reliable substitute for players like Pirlo, Pippo, Gattuso or Nesta. If one them gets injured we have quite a problem! We'll also have problems if you consider that we have to play an entire season with all the Serie A, CL and Coppa Italia matches. It's unthinkable that for example Kaká will play in every game, even though he's not injured. Now Gourcuff is a talented guy, but he's not Rui Costa. He has a huge lack of experience...
OK, I'll say if we don't have any major problem ( for example Nestas injured for a few months) we CAN win the Serie A, maybe even the CL on a good day...

With this team, we'll make an impact, but it wont last in the long run

Maybe a few signings; then I'd be saying 3rd times a charm (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

saying that this team can't do anything is a smack in the face to pippo, gilardino, gattuso, nesta, cafu, and all the other great players we have on this team.

i think they will do well...great players don't make a team win champions (perfect example is Real Madrid)...team unity makes teams win champions. we have a team of great players...they may not be superstars, but they are all great players in their own position. the only player we lost was Sheva, and remember, he didn't play much at the end of last season when we made our run to catch Juve anyways.

so yes, i think we will go far in the league and the CL

You're right, I know I have been critical, but I never criticised our players, I have said this before that I believe that we will go far this year, even in the CL, I trust in our players and in Carlo, I just lost a bit of faith inour management, even though we already have a great squad we need re-inforcements, at least 1 defender that is young and telented and a good striker. Nothing more.

I hope that all this Ronnie daydreaming for Silvio isn't the thing that is making us take so long in getting someone, because that would really be disappointing

we have the team for it if milan really want it. by thinking that there is no chance u might as well just forfeit. even little teams going into serie A dont go saying to themselves "we have no chance this season, lets hope our manager signs a good player next year so we have a better chance because im so mad at our manager this year, etc" so it might sound stupid but really the milan players just have to believe that they can

Guys, I wrote this before. We have a wonderful team and a wonderful coach. Players like Nesta, Pirlo, Gattuso, Kakà, Inzaghi etc. are envyed by all Europe. But the problem is, we don't have substitutions for these players. They will soon feel the fatigue of the long season, and when it will come for them to rest, there will be nobody to replace them. That's all.

Exactly!!!

as we are ...
IMO we have a good chance to win the scudetto (and that would be the third time in a row!!!) but in CL ... Quarter-finals would be good!!!!

there's one opponent that remains and will remain unbeatable; and that's time!!!!!

Except if we make some shopping in winter, I don't think we have any possible chance of winning the CL.

For me the January transfer window is a bit of a joke, most of the players you want to buy that are from a European team would have already played in the CL, so that has already thinned out a lot of possibilities. Unless we get someone from a south American team, which in itself still brings problem because you have to be careful wether you can even bring them because there is a limit on how many players you can have that don't have an EU passport, it's very complicated.

Well, at least if we don't get Oddo now we can still get him then, since Lazio doesn't play in any european competition this season.

Of course we have a chance to win the CL. Don't you think we can beat every team in the world on a good day? Well I do. As I said we have a great first squad, that is not any worse than Chelskis or Barcas. Why don't we all see that? Sure, our subs aren't that good, but I'm convinced if we have a little luck we can win the CL!

Yeah, but at least a striker like Oliveira would be well appriciated in case Gila and Pippo don't get well together.
