Anyway, if Robinho is definitely staying, my only wish is that he trains hard this month and a half to least be in good shape when the season starts.

Good shape? He was constantly awful throughout the whole last season. I don't know man, I seriously doubt he's any good. Even Emanuelson has his brighter moments.

I think his main problem is match fitness. He seemed sluggish and chubby in the second half of last season. If he manages to get back in good shape, that'd be half as bad.

I really hope you're right. But somehow it seemed to me he lost his touch. Then again, it's a WC season, he might just give everything he has to star for Brazil once again.

Apparently Robinho has been the most in form player in these first few days, according to numerous reports.

Niang has been very sharp as well. Not that i expect the MF collective to ever let him live down his first season in a new country, a new culture and all this at 17yo. NDJ has also looked very ready to go.

I think we're still trying to sell him.

Have you guys seen Robinho's latest pic? He looks his former self physically. I think he lost a few pounds.

Well, we extended Silva's contract then we sold him. one would think maybe the same could happen to Robinho? but don't think so... because it's always the opposite of what you want. always the shittiest scenario happens.

The only light at the end of this dark tunnel is next year's WC. hopefully Robinho is deluded enough to think he has a chance of playing for this new Brazil, so he tries to shape up.

Are the terms public? Did he at least take a pay cut?

@Milanello Robinho's salary has been reduced to about €3-3.5m, and it will be spread out over the next 3 years.
