Weah: Adebayor Would Be Great For Milan
Rossoneri legend George Weah says that AC Milan would do well to prise Emanuel Adebayor away from Arsenal in their bid to restablish themselves amongst the elite of world football.
It is looking increasingly likely that the Togolese hit-man will be lining up in the famous red-and-black of Milan if the latest reports from both Italy and England are to be believed.
Weah, perhaps his continent's finest ever footballer, clearly would love to see Adebayor follow in his footsteps by bringing the spirit of Africa to Milan.
"Adebayor has good skills, he's strong and he's a good scorer," Weah was quoted as saying in Setanta Sports.
"If they have the possibility to take him to AC Milan, that's a good deal."
"Life has so many transitions," he added when talking about Milan's misfirings last season. "If they want to continue being the winners they have been they will definitely have to recruit."
According to Sportmediaset , only €5m stand now stand between Milan and Adebayor. Darn it...now what do we do...is weah just standing up for a fellow brother, or does he see something I don't.
Ade just looks so disorganized. I mean, why did we get Ade, when we already had Gila. And I do not see Ade doing no coast to coast, or even lasting one round of one-on-one with Chiellini.

QUOTE (morgoth @ Jun 25 2008, 06:49 PM) Adebayor has good skills?! (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Weah should just keep his opinion to himself, because honestly it's quite embarrassing to say that!!! Oh, wait I got it, he's confusing with Eto'o (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Paolo commented on Adebayor after he faced him, he said a lot of good things about him like .. ".. in the past you would never find players with the qualities like this .." He was referring to Adebayor; being tall, fast, good ball control, and a threat in teh 18 yard box. I mean this coming from the worlds greatest defender is enough to convince me ... Personally, I rarely rate the players that come from the EPL, only probably a handful of them appeal to me and I never really rated Adebayor (probably because I don't really follow the EPL), but after the comments emanating from Maldini after he faced Arsenal, I took his word. Of course, if it was me I would choose Eto'o, for several obvious reasons; he is experience, has played at the highest of levels and is a world class footballer.
