If we sign Belotti I will put a Fassone-Mirabelli sig to worship them.

We're not taking Suso to the ICC and Spurs are preparing a 22M bid.

They apparently already brushed Spurs off.

Also, Milan TV saying that both Suso and Romagnoli will be staying back in Italy to recover from their injuries.

Looks like Auba could be going to Chelsea. Belotti is our only viable option now or Kalinic...

Here's an article in English (by James Horncastle, who's pretty good) offering an explanation for the Bonucci transfer.

He's terrible. He's the smuggest pundit around and thinks his opinion is fact. I rue the day I spoke to him. But I suppose people paid for their views think those views are correct.

Saw that. Does explain why Roma wasn't involved v Lugano.

I'll take Belotti reluctantly. Wouldn't be thrilled by him and Silva at the front but hope it proves me wrong.

Belotti would be a top signing. Kalinic would be a huge step down.

Yes. They're a Romanian outfit. First leg on Jul 23rd in Romania and second leg on Aug 3rd at the San Siro.

Wow, the Bonucci signing is World Class. One of the top 3-4 defenders in the world, and on top of that stolen from a direct rival for $40M. That is a statement signing. If we somehow manage to get Belotti after all of this, this may go down as the best transfer window ever.

This team is really starting to take shape. I would say that CL is looking better and better by the day with these guys. Add to the fact that most of the players we have brought in are young guys who will only get better, and things are beginning to look up for us. We deserve this after the last few years we have been through.

As to Danny's point about Alphas... Biglia and Bonucci definitely qualify as Alpha players. Biglia isn't the most technically gifted but he lifted an overall average Lazio team to become a dangerous squad since he has been there. Plus he plays for Argentina regularly and always looks like one of the leaders of that team when he plays with them. Bonucci goes without saying as an Alpha. The guy was one of the best players on the team that went to the CL final this year and he can bring his experience to a backline that is looking like the strongest in the league.

I'll take Belotti reluctantly. Wouldn't be thrilled by him and Silva at the front but hope it proves me wrong.

Actually it's Suso, Bona and Romagnoli all staying back due to their injuries. Romagnoli's looks to be a bit more serious. He has a meniscus problem. Hopefully it can get healed up before the start of the season. If we're really going for a 3-man backline, we need to have all of the 3 CBs available

Have you watched Belotti Danny, and when I say watched, I mean really watched, the man is a powerhouse. Auba is more of a stealth type striker who's very quick and always in the right place at the right time. But Il Gallo is just something more imo in terms of all round team play. He's strong, pretty fast, can play with his back to goal, on the counter, run channels, good header of the ball, and as x-off put it he's a modern day Vieri. If there is the slightest of opportunities we should get him. Add to that he's not going to request the insane salaries Auba would, he'd probably be more than happy with something around 2.5m

Agreed on both counts

Agreed about the alpha debate. Also, Belotti might be young but he's a great personality to have on the team

As for our defence, I don't see it as the best in the league just yet, I think they have to actually play a game together before we can assess. Juve imo are still the best in that area

Fassone could contact Torino again today for Belotti. Aubameyang remains the first choice [Alfredo Pedullà]

So, Auba is 1st choice, Belotti is the back up to him. I don't think Kalinic is comming, we just wanted to make pressure to Torino. Even if he comes, he will come if Bacca leaves and doesnt negate Aubas or Belottis transfer.
