"KAKA' IS HERE TO STAY
2/9/2007 11:28:00 AM
The rumours abound but our beloved golden boy isn't going anywhere

(IMG:http://media2.acmilan.com/200610/4560_news.jpg)

The rumour mill is running at full speed after Spanish newspaper AS reported that Milan are prepared to sell Kakà in exchange for the trio of Mahamadou Diarra, Robinho and Fabio Cannavaro, plus cash. Rumours are so often unfounded and there is also the problem of the language barrier on this international scene that deals in Spanish, Italian, French and English. Nevertheless in this case and in every language, it needs to be said that no matter which way you look at it KAKA’ ISN’T GOING ANYWHERE. There’s nothing like the truth to clear up what could be a confusing matter, but quite simply that there’s no reason to worry because our beloved golden boy is here to stay."

THANK GOD!!!

Oh they have nothing to write about in the media then. Oh wait they can say some transfer news that their best friends, auntie's, grandad's, son's, niece's, sister's, uncle heard about either Ronaldinho, C.Ronaldo or Kaka then (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif)

Don't think it will happen. Brazillians are like the mercenaries of the football club. Very rare to have them play for just one European club.

In fact I'd be very surprised if Kaka would play out his career here.

True .. But it also depends on how Milan is doing .. I mean, Kaka at Milan is amazing, but at another club ?! I would say he'll be here for sometime .. But will be sold at the right time when the price is just right, while his form isn't quit so ..

Kaka wanted R9 .. And so Milan brought R9 .. Now if this isn't enough to show the media that Milan is taking care of it's wonder boy .. Then I dont know what is !!

Exactly. I'm of the opinion he'll go the Rui Costa route. Some new kid is gonna be just better than he is(at that age). It would take some time, but it would still happen.

I don't know why. Maybe coz most Brazillians depend a lot on pace. Unlike say a Zizou. So as you grow older, and lose your speed, your effectiveness is also down. On the other hand, players who were never about the pace, like Zidane, are far more consistent over the years.

Henry is an exception. Well almost. He no longer depends on pure pace. He's got a lot of craft. All those years of playing under Wenger I guess.

A franchise player normally is the best player on the team, and is able to carry it by himself. A winning team can be built around this player and he/she is part of the core of the team. And yes they normally have multi-year contracts. a few examples from other sports:
-Steve nash, Tim duncan, king james <-(NBA)
-Manning (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) , wady brady, MCnabb...<-(NFL)
-Alexander the great(ovechkin), sid the kid(sidney crosby),iginla<-(NHL)
and in the wonderfull world of football: Terry, ronaldinho, henry, a younger maldini and of course KAKA.

heheh i just love answering questions in depth and thoroughly (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)
