We can't pull off the sh!t we did in the beginning of the second half today against Lazio, as I've said before.
But with Kaka back and Pirlo and Seedorf back in form I think we can do well.
Again not going to put out any predictions cause I will jinx us

QUOTE (Rossoneri7 @ Jan 14 2007, 06:34 PM) If we play like we did against Reggina then Lazio will probably **** us. We kept giving away the ball too cheaply and because we practically never have the same central pairing in defence because of all the injuries we suffer a lot at the back. Hopefully having Dida back next week (I'm not sure if he'll play though) will put everyone's minds back at ease. All the games we had to play in succession has really been testing on the players, you could see how tired they where getting, but we need all of them to regain match fitness.

Lazio will get rapped .. You can bet on that (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) They stand no chance, the only reason theywere pushed up ahead of us was because of the points deduction. I think the team has woken up since then and now are hauling in the results. Cuz at the end of this month the CL will come into picture, which usually means the team slacks off on Serie A at times .. So I really think Milan will win this game, and with conviction too (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

But if we play like we played today then we will probably lose. We should thank our lucky stars that Reggina don't know what the meaning of good finishing is. I'm not saying that we didn't have our chances to make the gap larger, I'm just saying that the chances we allowed Reggina to have shouldn;t have been allowed in the first place, their strikers kept getting free shots right in front of our goal. If that was another team they would have scored. We need to keep possession and not lose the ball in midfield.

Lazio - Milan Stadio Olimpico
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Milan will be hoping to continue their recent resurgence in Week 20 when they travel to the Stadio Olimpico for a tricky test against Lazio. The Rossoneri famously overhauled the capital club on their way to the Scudetto in 1999, while the Biancocelesti’s skipper Massimo Oddo is keen to join the San Siro boys – so there is plenty of spark to his clash.
Aside from their recent good run, Milan also have history on their side having not lost an away League tie against Lazio since 1998. Given the way that Alberto Gilardino and Clarence Seedorf have been playing of late, there’s every chance that run will continue, although they could only manage a 0-0 stalemate last term.
With luck now seemingly on his side, Rossoneri tactician Carlo Ancelotti is finally able to welcome Nelson Dida back into his side after a month and a half on the sidelines. The Brazilian’s return is timely, as deputy Zeljko Kalac is out for the next month with a knee problem. Gennaro Gattuso is also expected to return to the side after suspension in place of Giuseppe Favalli, with Marek Jankulovski reverting to left-back.
Delio Rossi’s Lazio side have defied the odds this term to sit in fifth place, level on points with Catania for the final Champions League berth, but defeat to Milan would allow the Rossoneri to climb up alongside them. Fortunately, Rossi has had just one change forced upon him, with Guglielmo Stendardo banned. Sebastiano Siviglia, fresh from a suspension himself, is likely to benefit.
Perhaps the most telling team selection will be Lazio’s right-back, with all the signs pointing to Oddo starting against the club he wants to join in January. Having spent time in the Rossoneri’s youth team, he is keen to return to the club for Champions League football. But if Lazio are victorious here, surely that dream could be achievable in the Italian capital?
Man on fire: Clarence Seedorf (Milan) – The Dutch ace has more than filled in for the injured Kaka, scoring one against Reggina and setting up numerous other chances for his teammates.
Last season: Lazio 0-0 Milan
Form guide: Lazio (W D L W D) Milan (D D W W W) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lazio (probable): Peruzzi; Oddo, Cribari, Siviglia, Zauri; Mudingayi, Ledesma, Mutarelli; Mauri; Rocchi, Pandev
Milan (probable): Dida; Cafu, Bonera, Maldini, Jankulovski; Brocchi, Pirlo, Gattuso; Seedorf; Gilardino, Inzaghi
