LOL @ anyone taking notice of what Galliani says (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) If you remember last year he famously said "our mercato is over" and then proceeded to sign both Binho and Ibra.

True, but I really don't get what the point of such a statement was (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) It just makes him look bad imo

To be honest, I don't think he gives a damn. He's dedicate to his job and sets his goals and aims very high while being concentrated 100% on the deal. He's no public charmer, he's a doer.

You can do that without making yourself and the club you are representing look foolish and ridiculous. Never seen any club that make signing players such a biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig mystery and all, shrouded in comics and bad-taste drama. At the end, you can at most sign Ganso or Manso or Dango or whatever. You are not signing Maradona or Pele for God sake.

I think it's all part of the plan. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) What better way to get free media exposure than make stupid/weird statements, even if at the expense of the club. Not only that, it also acts as a bit of a smokescreen for the big transfers the club makes.

I can't believe after everything Galliani has done for this club, you people are questioning his actions and means of effectiveness. The man knows what he is doing, that is, or should be, incredibly evident.

He's also embarassed the club. I also don't think he's as good as some people make out.

Galliani is the best at what he does. His methods are only a bit... unorthodox.

Galliani is a joke. It's very rare we get a decent deal for a player. If anything the deals we do make are not good at all.

Ummmm, are you suggesting they're bargains or something? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Paloschi? El Sharaawy? Ronaldinho? Zambrotta? These were all atrocious deals. Paloschi more than once, too. I suppose getting anything for Ronaldinho was decent, but signing him for that fee was embarassing, same goes for El Sharaawy. And people say English prices are inflated? It's all subjective I suppose. I know some will defend Galliani an awful lot, but I feel he makes too many mistakes. I don't even really want to mention the name Suazo.
