Valerio Fiori will continue his Milan career after the fourth-choice goalkeeper extended his contract.
Despite now being behind Nelson Dida, Zeljko Kalac and January arrival Marco Storari in the pecking order, Milan have rewarded the shot-stopper for his commitment with an extension.
Fiori’s previous deal was set to expire in June, but he’s today put pen to paper on a new agreement until June 2008.
The 38-year-old, formerly of Lazio, Cagliari, Cesena and Fiorentina, joined the Rossoneri in 1999 from Piacenza.
However, he’s amazingly made just one Serie A appearance – in 2002-03 – during his eight seasons at the San Siro.
He is showing incredible loyalty, considering he has only played once in eight years
