QUOTE (acid911 @ Aug 5 2008, 10:10 PM) Maybe we should have an internal poll to decide what poll to put on for next week? (IMG: http://i34.tinypic.com/51brs0.gif) Could be fun. Hehehe. Or we could have a poll to decide who will get to decide which poll should be put on for next week (IMG: style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

Well, let's make a poll and decide who's gonna be Milan's most efficient goalscorer?
And while we're there, we can always ask in addition who's gonna be the capocannonieri this season?

QUOTE (TriniKing_CE @ Dec 6 2008, 08:32 PM) POLL IDEA
Given the chance, Should Milan re-sign Ronaldo (R9)?
Yes No
[Someone please create it]
I'm interested to see which out weighs the other, given his ability to turn a game within a matter of minutes (as we all know of), also given his inability to stay fit for a lengthy period of time. Very good idea. Hope this one will be created - since most of them end up unused.

Poll idea (IMG: style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) Who will finish as Milan's top scorer in Serie A this season? Kaka Pato Ronaldinho PS 1. If you think another player still has a chance, include him. PS 2. I know it's not the best poll ever, but it's better than nothing (IMG: style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Let's make a simple poll:
Should Milan install a new coach?
Yes, after season end. Yes, right now. No

I hate to admit it but Cesar has been this year's best. And he was the best last season too. And the season before that. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif)

Another poll question I'd suggest:
"Why are poll questions suggested by posters not added to polls?"

I like that one. It also ties in with Filippo's earlier poll suggestion. Put it up please. 10ster? Max? Mishie?
After that we can have a new poll...

I think it's pretty clear, all the players that have talked about it said that the club had to sell him for financial reasons.

QUOTE (Danny @ Aug 14 2009, 01:40 PM) This mean I'm not getting a poll (IMG: style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) (IMG: style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) QUOTE (TriniKing_CE @ Aug 14 2009, 06:02 PM) I may be wrong - but didn't Miz & Tennie say the opposite? [...forgive me if I am wrong] I think a poll would have been a good idea - those who are usually afraid of critisim would also tend to vote because its somewhat confidential! Well it's a fact that Kaka was sold for financial reasons, everyone from the club (apart from Silvio who has obvious reasons to lie about it) has admitted so... I'm not sure about Miz's view but Tennie also thinks he's a money whore... I can't see where that is based on but everyone's free to think the way he/she wants... I'll just mention that Tennie has admitted she never liked Kaka... (IMG: style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Gosh, dst, since you already know what I think about this, I guess I don't need to post an opinion myself. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) (For the record, no, I never did like Kaka and still don't. Think there's a bit of money whore about him, yes, but ultimately I think the transfer to Real was one that suited everyone concerned.)

QUOTE but ultimately I think the transfer to Real was one that suited everyone concerned.) It did. What gets me about the whole thing is the fact he, like so many before him at Milan and other clubs, swore allegiance to us beyond words. He wanted to be the captain, an idol, and finish his career here. The Man City bid comes in and we accept, and leave it up to Kaka, who rejects because he wants to stay with us. Then Real Madrid come in, offer less, we still accept, and he goes. He leaves us with the nice quote that he only wished the deal had gone through sooner. If Kaka had been self sacrificial he'd have left in January to give Milan the money. No, he wanted to leave for Madrid, and was waiting for them to offer. In a way, Kaka cost us 50M through selfishness.

So you're saying if Random FC from a 5x5 tournament in the North Pole had offered half a million euros he should have gone to them so that we get the biggest offer? This is ridiculous. Of course he did not want to go to City, why should he? I believe he would have never left Milan if we did not want to sell him and you believe otherwise so there's no point going on with this as it will get us nowhere. The way I see it, a guy that takes time to talk about his former club in his presentational speech is way too tied to it to have gone willingly. QUOTE (Danny @ Aug 18 2009, 06:00 PM) Take that as a no then! No no I just found that funny, I was not laughing at you. I'll create the poll if you give me the choices you want me to add.

Indeed, it's probably not the best thing to continue this argument because it doesn't appear as if there's going to be agreement.
So....
Poll ideas for the coming season?
Or should we just let dst be creative?

While Kaka' did want a good deal for the club, he didn't want to be forced somewhere that he didn't want to go. I believe had Chelsea came in for him, he would have gone. But where City will be in a few years is still up in the air, nobody knows how quickly they will succeed, why throw your career away for the good of a club? I also think more of the blame should go to the management, they were more than happy to seemingy force him out the club to make a quick few $$$. Im with Mike. With the level of money we seem willing to invest, he is irreplacable. The few players in the World that are as good as him are simply not in our price range.

Or should we just let dst be creative? Not read the whole thread so apologies if I've missed folk saying these before... Best 'lesser' league to scout for new talent: 1: France 2: Belgium 3: Brazil 4: Portugal 5: Netherlands 6: English Championship 7: Serie B And: What is your priority this coming season? 1: Scudetto title 2: CL/Europe title 3: Respectable displays in both to regain credibility.

Next poll should be Ambro vs Rino.
Seeing as its a very commonly discussed topic, mostly between me and kurt, but everyone has their oppinion on the subject it should be made into a poll so we can see where the board members stand on this

QUOTE (Bluesummers @ Oct 9 2009, 04:48 PM) I would let him go. Pato has been here only 2 years, so its not that big of a loss. But I would like to keep him if we had the chance, but if he has to go then I would not go ape sh*t like when we lost Kaka.
I prefer a healthy milan to a healthy pato. Funny, I wasn't that bothered when we lost Kaka because I'd already felt his best years were behind him, a belief being justified by his average start at the Bernabau. I was, however, appalled at the notion of losing Pato. Now, however, I'm less sure.

QUOTE (Danny @ Oct 9 2009, 10:17 PM) Bidum t'sh.
Put it this way though, imagine we get 50M for a 20 year old in January, and a new manager - I'd much rather use that money to rebuild the squad from the ground up than keeping him and not having any money for a new manager to use.
And let's face it, after he brought in Huntelaar, I don't exactly trust Leo with millions. What does that mean? Bid him goodbye? I don't think Leo is to be 'blamed' (too early to say) for KJH. In his defence similar to Carlo, he wanted something else and was forced to compromise for the sake of the budget. He wanted Fabiano and the board got him KJH who was on a special 40% Milan only discount.

QUOTE (Jack Sparrow @ Oct 9 2009, 09:26 PM) No. Bidum t'sh! What does that mean? You misunderstood. I meant 'were you meaning Pato or Leo'. And bidum t'sh is the sound a drummer makes after a gag. As an aside, I have a belter of a poll suggestion: Will you still support Milan as avidly if we get relegated to Serie B? Yes. No.

Man of the match for me was Zambrotta. The moment he fouled Benzema and no penalty was give, I knew the stars were shining on Milan that night. Since Zambrotta assured me of victory, I give him the prize. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
