IMO Pirlo was the difference. He provided some through balls and accurate passes and his determinism showed. Pirlo caused havoc for Samp's defence with Pippo chasing his lob through balls. Andrea shined, and Ambro's goal was worth its weight in gold.

I think R9 did very well to sacrifice himself for the team, so to speak, he was helping out in defense also. Kaka imo was brilliant and is finally looking like the guy from before the xmas break. Shame that Oli had to go off in the first 10 minutes I really wanted to see what the brazilian tri ould do in attack today. |

This is not the Palermo we faced in San Siro last year. I'm quite convinced that they won't even be able to secure the 4th place. Anyway it won't be an easy match, as this one also wasn't easy. Kaká was playing really good, but I missed the awesome passes he provided against Celtic. Ronaldo didn't do very much, but he faced a defense that wanted to kill him, and he played alone upfront. Cafu was a little bit back to his old self, though I still would have prefered Oddo. As already said, the ref was/is a joke.
