Andriy Shevchenko: I Want To End My Career At MilanThe striker has his intentions clear as he eyes a stay in Milan...Milan striker Andriy Shevchenko admits his desire is to retire at the club as he harbours hope of a miraculous Scudetto win.
The Rossoneri hitman is on-loan at Milan until the end of the season, when he is set to return to Chelsea. However, reports in England suggest his future is by no means certain, feeding growing speculation that he will be released by the club. Sheva would then be free to find another side and his ambition is to end his playing days with Milan.
"You have to ask [Roman] Abramovich about my future. I want to stay in Milan, but we have to decide at the end of term," the striker told Datasport.
"I don't consider myself to be an ex-player. I feel strong physically and I want to end my career here at Milan. My objective is to return to my best and play at the highest levels."
Milan's slim chances of a Scudetto win slipped away during the 1-1 draw with Juventus. Nevertheless, 'Sheva' believes his side can still win it.
“I think there is still a chance, but Inter deserve it as they have been the most consistent club side,” added the striker.
