??
Gattuso Ambrosini Emerson Flamini
Becks Pirlo ??
Kaka Seedorf
Ronaldinho

The problem is obvious, we need two more midfielders, one that can play on the left and another one that can play goalkeeper.

@ Ro Rossonera

Thanks for posting. it's a nice compilation.

The only thing about Pato that bothers me is his heart-shaped hand celebration. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) I hope he stops doing that when he scores, and does something more passionate... a Pippo-like celebration [with a little less exaggeration] would be very nice!

Agreed. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/king.gif) It was good for a couple of matches; now he needs something more elegant.

Nope. Not if it is about happy reunions! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Any other situation, probably yes, though.

Well, I just happened to stumble upon the news while on another blog. Although I had my suspicions when that stupid heart made it back into his celebration when he scored in the Derby.

I am just generally bored by the current crop of player celebrations after goals. The yellow card for shirt-taking-offery has really dealt a blow to the creativity of the game.

Pato Frustrated By Scoring 'Useless' Goals For Milan

Perhaps the only positive thing about Milan's season so far has been the form of young striker Alexandre Pato, who seems destined for great things if his recent displays are anything to go by. At just 19 years of age, he is scoring goals left and right in Serie A, one of the toughest leagues in the world.

Yesterday against Sampdoria, he scored his 15th goal in all competitions for the Rossoneri this season, but once again it wasn't enough to bring them victory as their dire form continued.

"My goals aren't much use, we aren't winning, and this is what bothers me," he told the press today. "Too bad, I've already scored 15 goals this season, but many of them have been useless. To get out of this crisis we have to work hard. I am sure Milan will get out of this, and qualify for the next Champions League.

"In the first half I was too alone up front, then in the second half with [Filippo] Inzaghi's entrance it went better."

Sampdoria gained a 2-0 lead early in the second half, thanks to goals by Antonio Cassano and Giampaolo Pazzini, so Pato's 80th minute header turned out to be a mere consolation goal.

Following that defeat Milan are still in third place with 48 points, but fourth-placed Fiorentina are just two points below so Carlo Ancelotti's side will have to watch their backs to maintain their position until the end of the season.

Poor pato...
