QUOTE (Danny @ Jun 26 2014, 04:49 PM) It does, I am not going to deny it. Needs help, but you just can't bite people. And seeing as my bet's down the tubes I have no reason to want him playing now haha. Whether he needs help because he has problems as you've pointed out or that he's just an idiot that can't learn is lesson is something we'll have to see. Well at least Liverpool have insurance that they'll keep him at the least for another season (IMG: style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) Suarez lives to bite another day in the EPL!

QUOTE (han2503 @ Jun 26 2014, 01:14 AM) Did you watch Chiellini in all 3 games?
He was terrible against England on the left, which I initially excused as he's not really a FB. He was absolutely awful against Costa Rica where he made countless positional errors, some terribly wayward passes out of defence and back to Buffon, one nearly became an assist where he nearly sent the Costa Rica player through on goal with his back pass and another time he let it run under his leg which created another critical situation, he made the mistake on the goal Costa Rica scored as well. And he was bad yesterday against Uruguay as well, once again making passes and positional errors which put his team mates under pressure. I'm not saying Chiellini was good but rating players with "absolutely awful" is actually laughable, hence my reaction. In no fucking grading system was Chiellini absolutely awful because absolutely awful, more or less, means scoring a hat-trick of own goals! He made quite a few errors and that's the last thing you want from your defense but overall he was nowhere near close to "absolutely awful" or anything as extreme as that. QUOTE (X-Offender @ Jun 26 2014, 04:07 AM) Nah, no justification. Just an observation. It sounded like a thing the Italian media would come up with as they always try to find external factors to blame.

For someone of Chiellini's standards, his displays WERE absolutely awful. You expect better from him than rookie mistakes that cost the team.

We're laughing at him, but unlike 90% of Milanese players, he's going to the next round (IMG: style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
