QUOTE (X-Offender @ Jan 12 2019, 01:41 PM) Higuain's too a good a striker to say no to, given our situation.
Anyway, we're in deep sh*t. We have money but we can't spend it. FFP is driving clubs like us to the ground. We don't have enough revenues to cover for all the crazy player fees circulating in today's football. Hence why wealthy clubs like Barca, Madrid, Juventus, Bayern etc. are dominating Europe.
Unless we build a new stadium, for starters, we're going nowhere. Good old X-Offender (IMG: style_emoticons/default/graduated.gif) I fear that in Piatek we haven't plugged the gap left by Higuain's departure. |

QUOTE (han2503 @ Sep 30 2018, 05:38 PM) Generally Rino started Cutrone if I'm not mistaken
Anyway, Silva was having trouble scoring as well, so Rino generally rotated around with the 3 of them.
This is a case closed anyway, had he stayed he would have gotten even less playing time than last season as now there is no question who is the undisputed starter. We have a good mix with Higuain and Cutrone. 2 young players who both need time to gain experience is a bit too much as neither would be afforded the time they need to really gain momentum, especially now having someone of Higuain's caliber I think he preferred Kalinic to both if I'm not mistaken. The minutes totals might show me wrong, so I'm always open to correction. But I think Kalinic got the best quality minutes for sure....started a lot and not like Silva who often came on as a desperation play. Also sometimes Silva would score and then find his *** on the bench again while Kalinic never really did anything to earn his start....This is just from my perspective again and I could be wrong...but this is the impression i got. |

I don't blame him for wanting to leave. How could I when the coach insisted on using that turkey Kalinic. Also, please don't tell me nonsense about "work ethic" etc...when Kalinic was disciplined by both his national team coach and Gattuso himself for this. I have no idea why we are so bad at grooming youngsters. He came from a different league, speaks a different language etc....of course he's going to need time to settle. Dear Lord....it's like common sense has totally evaporated (IMG: style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) And for the idiots criticizing him....what has Kalinic done since moving to the Europa champions? |

It's so hard to be a Milan fan these days. Honestly, the only similarity between what we see today and what we had in Carlo's days is the colours....even our badge is different (IMG: style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) We have no fight, no commitment to good football, no marquee players (not even past it ones)....nothing I think (and still cling on to hope that I'm wrong) that the whole "Asian investment" hubbub was an elaborate ruse. In a similar vein, I'm also hoping that the "all Italian Milan" was just for political ends and not a serious initiative (as if we ever had one anyway) |

QUOTE (X-Offender @ Mar 7 2015, 08:29 PM) Please get rid of that signature it's depressing the f**k out of me. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Also I have a theory.....Muntari actually has a negative IQ.....since in reality a -ve IQ can exist (much like the fact that there's no "true" negative electrical charge) the collective IQ of both the squad and coach is reduced. This enables me to comprehend the decision to bring on a CB against Verona in the closing stages of the game Either that or in another universe, their Muntari has more footballing IQ than Dinho, P!rlo and Zidane put together and in order for equilibrium to exist, our Muntari has 0 IQ. While neither theory is comforting, I can at least sleep easier in the knowledge that the vortex of stupidity is somehow negated. |

Us Trinis are vastly superior to you mortals Just make him a mod or president or something (IMG: style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif) In other news I agree with Danny about Cristante. He shouldn't have been sold! Very shameful |

QUOTE (han2503 @ Aug 28 2014, 05:32 PM) I don't think Roma are really interested though, mediaset trying to make the Torres persuit more dramatic and befitting of a heroes doing when Galliani signs him. Can't wait for the golden letters Roma's interest doesn't matter as much as the fact that 1)Mourinho hates Fernando 2)Mourinho likes Destro 3)Diego Costa is injured for 6 weeks 4)Roma will always sell for the right price, and getting Torres after losing Destro isn't a significant downgrade |
