Looks like not. Lazio fans are infuriated, they want at least €30 million. Lotito wants to keep him till 2018. Source: Mediaset

Sky reports that Milan will sign Biabiany. In return Parma get Zaccardo & the 50% of Saponara (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

Galliani: "I have followed Taarabt for a long time - since he played in the Championship." (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Regarding Taarabt, take a look a this article. I really doubt he'll be any good.

Big mistake if we give them Saponara. And Biabiany is mediocre.

He's just an alternative. If he fails, he'll be sent back.

Yes, that's the only good thing. It's not permanent. But giving Saponara to them would be really bad. Hope Zee stops this deal.

Bad and stupid. We have a young talented Italian player in Saponara, who had some injury problems this season but looked good when played. Instead of giving him a chance we are bringing all this garbage (plus, Taarabt is not just mediocre, he seems like a very problematic guy from things I read about him).

QUOTE (Fillipo Simone @ Jan 30 2014, 04:10 PM) *
I see it like this:

In footballing terms, it's pretty much irrelevant if the "injury backup" is Zaccardo or the primavera player Davide Pacifico.

But financial terms matter as well. Pacifico (he's just a metaphor) is costing us peanuts and get's a shot in the big league, while Zaccardo costed us transfer money, his yearly salary and probably won't move when we try getting rid of him.

Very well said. Not only we are inflating our wage bill with useless players, we are also reducing the potential of our youth players.

Getting stuck isn't right because both are on loan, no? It's giving Seedorf some space for his tactics. What would you expect us to do in a winter period?

Well, technically, it is getting stuck. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Both turn out to be dud, and we send them back, and we are not only back to zero, but maybe even minus zero. We'll get no where at this rate, not that we are getting anywhere in the first place. But I can clearly see how this shtick is disappointing. Because it is.

I don't follow. They return and we have all summer long to contemplate our moves.
