we could easily lose 4 defenders this summer so i would expect for to sign 2-3 new guys.

QUOTE (Devillito @ Mar 26 2007, 09:04 AM)
What happen to Kaka's brother?
Rodrigo Santos leite i guess!!
Is he any good?
I thought he is a defence  (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

He plays for Rimini...that says it all...
Juan is good, solid defender. He improved a lot in 2006, and IMO really deserves to play for a better club than Leverkusen. Him and Nesta would give our defense some safety again. Plus, he won't be very expensive, I think he can leave Leverkusen for about 4 Million €.

Good to hear about Juan, if we are going to go for a new CB this summer we better not go for someone mediocre becuase we already have enough of those (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Juan is a good player and he is not expensive
I saw him play against Lens and he doesn't look impressive. He likes to play very offensive

The best choices for defence would be Chivu or Mexes for CB and Zambrotta
for LB

I hope we could sign up the guy, at least he is <30!! Most of our players are very old and time is ripe to inject fresh blood. Pato is also an excellent choice and I think we should go for him. The good thing is that they both want to join Milan!

As for Pirlo, who else can replace him other than Gorcuff??? give him the exposure he needs, the boy is great (and young).

Yeah Digao? He's only 17 or 18, on loan at Rimini. Haven't heard much about him to be honest.

Yeah I tried to catch a couple of Rimini games on Eurosport but they seem to have stopped their Serie B coverage cold, but whe I did mnage to see some of their games he wasn't playing.

So I can't really say how well he is doing but I've read somewhere that he is impressing (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

I like Juan. He's strong, calm and good on the ball. He appears to be solid for Brazil.

Agreed. Even if he doesn't start many games at least he'll be good cover for Nesta/Bonera, or whoever else ends up starting there.

If we can get him for around £4m-£6m that'll be a bargain.

That's the idea. He would come "cheap", and as you said, at 4-5mil he would be a bargain.
