My ratings for Milan players last night:
Abbiati - 7.5; solid, aerialy strong (which isn't always the case with him), made two really good saves..perfect night
Maldini- 8; very good match; covering, headers, and this time also no wrong passing like against Roma (is it me or is Maldini coming forward more then usual (usual=usual or the last 2-3 seasons) last couple of matches,...is it that he wants to score one more for his last season?) Favalli - 7; solid CB solution. Becoming better and better. No big mistakes. Jankulovski - 6.5; must be played as LM. His offensive work was very good, but his stupid fouls, false movement, irritating positioning and the red card minutes before FT. Zambrotta - 7; made mistakes but only because the right flank was constantly under attack. His movement and tackling was on level, really good match.
Ambrosini - 6; not the usual combination from Ambro this time. Did some of our hard work, but was missed more game influence. Pirlo - 6.5; good defensive work and passing, a fair match from Andrea. Beckham - 6.5; some good crosses and passes, good work on the flanks. His movement isn't synchronized with Milan yet. Also, he's too many times to late to block or tackle a opposing midfielder. Kaka - 6.5; emotional game by Ricky. He wanted to score, had some good runs and dribbles, but it wasn't his night. Seedorf - 5; worst Seedorf game for Milan in 3 years. Everything went wrong - even the things he does usually good - horrible shooting, passing,...
Pato - 7; scored the match winner, develops really into a Milan force.
subs: Senderos - 7; did not play much, but made everything right. Ronaldinho - Flamini - 6; solid performance, but I expect more offensive link with our other strikers.
Ancelotti - 6.5; typicall Carletto match.

QUOTE (Zed.D @ Jan 18 2009, 02:26 AM) Goodbye Kaka it was a joy watching you in these years! Better leave the goodbyes for later, till everything gets official (which hopefully they don't). Our Arab friends just lost close to $1 billion just like that. And the oil prices are falling down. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) Maybe they'll put the transfer on hold. Or change their mind. QUOTE (arivanjj @ Jan 18 2009, 10:31 AM) next is Bologna... guess a win should be easy. If I were you I'd not call any future games that we're yet to play, easy. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) Remember what happened when we invited Bologna to San Siro some months back? First game of this season, and they smashed us left and right, 2-1. If we are to somehow mount a challenge for the Scudetto, no easy game remains. If not, then lots of them. QUOTE (vahid @ Jan 18 2009, 01:35 AM) Begone Gallaini. was that on a placard?if yes it's great It was. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) QUOTE (CrazyMilanFan @ Jan 18 2009, 02:16 AM) BTW it my birhtday today Mine's tomorrow. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) Elegant party planned. So a fellow Capricornian? Good. Hope you had fun!

(IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I'll be here to celebrate as there's a troll infestation on the other forums that I refuse to be a part of. How old will you be? Or are your lips sealed? QUOTE (MizNelson @ Jan 19 2009, 05:43 AM) Happy early birthday, acid. I'll be here to celebrate as there's a troll infestation on the other forums that I refuse to be a part of. Cheers, Miz! (IMG: style_emoticons/default/king.gif) You're the 2nd person to wish me after ZD. Yeah, I visited R&B and a couple of other forums these last two days to get a glimpse of the Kaka saga, and for better or for worse, I feel I'm a lucky guy I'm not signed up at any of them. This here is the most secure place in the whole of Milan world. QUOTE (MizNelson @ Jan 19 2009, 05:43 AM) How old will you be? Or are your lips sealed? I wanted to keep my lips sealed, but then I saw that on the main page (homepage) of the forum there is a little notice at the bottom that says Today's birthday and lists mine as 24. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) Kidding! There's also another member (R-Gilardeno) who's born on the same day as me, and he's 102 years old. So I feel pretty young in comparison. As long as the heart's young. Besides I'm not too big on hiding my age: You're as old as you're old as you're old.

QUOTE (Fillipo Simone @ Jan 18 2009, 08:36 PM) Seedorf - 5; worst Seedorf game for Milan in 3 years. Everything went wrong - even the things he does usually good - horrible shooting, passing,... I think this was a good game for Seedorf compared to his average display. The worst? His game against Arsenal at the Emirates and against Roma last week are easily the worst performances I've ever witnessed by a player of his ability.

I reckon Zamb played better than Maldini. he had RB,DM and CB covered when they were on a break or one of our players was out of position, when i watched the game again i didn't really see him make any mistakes,he did a few overlaps on the wing,i guess his crosses weren't perfect but defensively he was tiptop.
