QUOTE (Fillipo Simone @ Jul 4 2007, 12:13 AM)
Well, as far as I know, Cassano can play as an AM or SS, so that would be a solution - Pato and Cassano are porbably the best solution right now.

Antonio can make the instant impact, thats what he allways does. And then when the problems start (I give him 8 months till the first incident), Pato can jump in,...
*

I would only sign Cassono if we have no other good choice. Instant? He played this year max 6-7 games and none in the last 6 month. And he's awful at AM.

We don't need him. His last years were dreadful, he brings trouble to the dressing room and he ain't the immediate impact forward that we are looking for. He's more gamble than Oli IMO.

Cassano's best position is as a Second Striker, ahed of the Trequartista (with Roma Totti) but behind the main striker (Roma Montella)

In that position you can fully utilise his talents

Gamble? It wasn't negative. He was a gamble coming after big injury into new league. Whether he deserves another chance is another question.

I don't think it's an over-statement to call him one of the best in history.

In his generation.

It's impossible to compare players from different eras IMO

I'd rather gamble on youth.

With Cassano its just like why should we give him a chance at a major club? He showed he couldn't keep his head at Madrid and there were a couple games where Madrid was putting balls on a platter and he couldn't score.

Im sick of Milan being a refuge for players on their way down. Patos on his way up but 25 millions a lot for someone that won't probably make an immediate impact. Many said the same thing about Robinho and after a couple seasons he's doing some great things.

Cassano is a big big big big big big big no no no no. He is talented and very good, but very arrogant. I"m almost hundred percent sure that him and gila would get into a fight in the dressing room. I mean if we can get thru the problems, we'd have a killer force. Pato is a must sign, and i think galliani will do it depending on if carlo likes him or not.

Then since he's a player from the generation I grew up watching, R9s the best in history for me. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Pato scored 2 goals last night against South Korea. Really looked good.

Hopefully Carlo and Braida were impressed
