QUOTE (LaPalma @ Jul 3 2007, 09:08 AM) IMO Santa Cruz = Oli He's a horrible player, had an awfull season, more than a dozen chances in Munich and they've got every right to get rid of him. Karimi was a joke as well, he's miles away from having the class to play for a CL (and now UEFA Cup (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) ) team like Bayern. What happened to Daei ? I saw him play in Milan vs Bayern and he was pretty good with the ball control and passing , except his diving is very cheap.

QUOTE Poldi...if he'd use his abilities he could become the first german World Class striker since Jürgen Klinsmann, but he just played the worst season in his young career and will have a hard time fighting for a place in Hitzfelds team now that Toni and Klose are there. IMO this year will decide if he's to become another divine talent or a world class player. I don't think you can compare him to Klinsmann, Jurgen was just superb, and German. Lukas is neither. (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) But seriously, I think he's similar to many players in that he's one of the Worlds best when it comes to the international stage, but doesn't seem to have the same motivation at club level.

Of course I can't compare him to Klinsmann. He won almost everything a player can win and convinced even his biggest critics. Poldi is only 21 years old. At that age Klinsmann played in the 2nd german league. When I watched Poldi still playing for Cologne he showed his amazing skills. For Bayern of course, he was a flop so far... OK Poldi was born in Poland, but Germany has no good striker who was born here. Poldi, Klose, Kuranyi, Neuville(not a good striker though) and Gomez...but they have a passport and grew up here so they're german IMO.

QUOTE (whoarethepatriots @ Jul 3 2007, 02:51 PM) He is only marginally better than Olivera A step backwards to be honest, although i seriously doubt we will go for him. Roma on the other hand... Thats nonsense you are talking,... How the hell can you even compare them? Do they have even one segment comparable or similar? ------Oli - Poldi (oooo, yes, they have bothe rediculous nicks) age: 27 - 22 apps./goals for NT: 11/3 - 36/22 Poldi played 1 Euro and 1 WC, won the best youth player award, made a record transfer to Bayern - and the only thing is he had a lousy season with them. And now,...how can you say they are the same? (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) And honsetly, it starts getting on my nerves that Oliveira, only based on one pretty tuff season, were his sister went kidnaped and he had only few time to adapt after his injurie, allways is a measure for a bad striker! Well, use this looser Borriello instead, he is the only Milan player I dont care to spell correct,... Why this...Oli, Oli,...he is as bad as Oli, he is just like Oli,...arrrgghhh,.. QUOTE (dst @ Jul 3 2007, 04:50 PM) Fillipo got mad! I think it's the first time!! (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Problem with the girl buddy!?? (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) First of all, I think whoarethepatriots was talking about Santa Cruz, not Podolski! And yes, maybe Oli is badly criticized a little too much but he was the biggest disappointment of last season I think... he didn't display any sign of a great player! Maybe Milan will give him another chance and he'll prove me wrong... I'd like to see that! Well, yes its the first time...for everything theres a first time...as a mather of fact, yeah I got a D in late-medieval greek, serbian and byzantine history,...but.. (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) If whoarethepatriots ment Santa Cruz, well they are pretty incomparable too, but then I must appologize.. I also did criticized Oli, but maybe we all lost too much respect for him,..
