Milan are close to completing the signing of Ronaldinho from Barcelona, and will unveil the player at their Milanello training base tomorrow, according to reports in Italy this evening.
The Gazzetta dello Sport reported on their website that Milan will pay Barcelona €18.5m (£14.775m) for Ronaldinho, though that figure is likely to be increased by performance-related bonuses. Ronaldinho himself will be handed a three-year deal worth €6.5m (£5.2m) a year.
"[Barcelona] have dubbed the Rossoneri's offer 'satisfactory'," read Gazzetta's report. "But the player's contract is particularly complicated - in part for non-footballing reasons."
A statement on Milan's website said that there was a "good chance" that Ronaldinho would complete a move from Barcelona.
"There are a few economic matters that still need to be resolved, but our legal team has already prepared all the necessary forms," said club lawyer Leandro Cantamessa, who has apparently been in "constant contact" with Galliani. "I spoke to Galliani and he was calm, even though nobody has put pen to paper yet." (IMG:
