Italian players will understand the history and the passion of wearing the red and black, but perhaps the jersey weighs on them too heavily? Brazilians can come in and play without stress and thus with confidence. I also actually like the "foreign magnet" approach - I recall a Dutch-laden Milan squad winning quite a few trophies. Perhaps we should have sold Rijkaard and Van Basten when we signed Ruud Guillit? Based on your reasoning, that would have been necessary right? (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

Yeah 10 million should do the trick. MLS needs to be smart and sell him on good terms, so in 3-4 years it can re-sign him. He really did help attendance, help sell t-shirts, and help sell TV deals.
